Six months later.

Lyra goes in to labor in the middle of dinner with Jaime, Bronn and Daemon.
"Bronn, take my son out of here, bring your plates and cups with you, keep him away from these chambers", Lyra says. Jaime, sweet husband, get the maester.
"Yes, lady Lyra", Bronn says, picking up the plates and cups and usher the little lordling out of the room. "Come, little lion, we'll go eat in the great hall and then go see the new foals, and see if any of them can be yours for your next name day."
"We will send for you when the baby has arrived", Lyra says.

Jaime goes to get the maester and tells the chambermaids to get hot water and clean cloth for his lady wife.
"Stay with me, Jaime, stay with me, it hurts, please, it hurts, stay with me, baby", Lyra whimpers as he puts her down in the birthing bed and going to get the maester.
"I'll be right back, my love", Jaime says, opening the door to their chambers, roaring like the lion of his house, to a servant. "Bring maester Craylen, lady Lyra is about to give birth to my child, and bring hot water and clean linnen, and bring food for us, wine and something light for my lady's pain, something that is safe for the child."
"Yes, mi'lord", the servant says, rushing to do his master's bidding.

Within minutes maester Craylen and the servants with the hot water, linnen, food, wine and pain relief arrive, three of the women servants stay to help the maester, the male servants and the remaining women servants leave.

One of the three women ordered to help their mistress during the birthing of her and their master's child try ushering Jaime out of the chambers, he smirks at her.
"Lord Lannister, you must not be here, this is not for men folk", the woman servant says.
"Jaime!" Lyra whimpers.
"And which one of you propose to keep me out?" Jaime smirks, going to sit down next to the bed, taking Lyra's hands in his. "I'm here, my love, I'm here, I was at her side when our Daemon was born, I intend to be at her side for the birth of this child just the same."
"Help me, Jaime", Lyra whimpers.
"Look at me, only at me, and when you feel a cramp, you push, my love", Jaime says calmly.

Lyra feels a cramp rip through her body and gives a hard push. Jaime gently pushes Lyra back against the sheets in the birthing bed, after another push, he lets Lyra rest a bit and make sure she takes a couple bites of food to keep her strength.

Jaime gently feeds her, picking up the food from the plate with his fingers and feeds her.
"Here, have another bite and then rest for a little bit before you push again, my love", Jaime says.

Lyra takes another bite of food and then she takes Jaime's hands in hers and gives a couple pushes and after three pushes, the baby comes out of her.
"A boy, mi'lady, mi'lord", the servant girl says smiling, wrapping the boy in a blanket.
"Hand him to his father", Lyra says.
"Another beautiful boy, my love, blonde like his brother and me, grey eyed like you", Jaime says, smiling as he looks down at his newborn son. "Hello little one, I'm your father."
"What should we name him, my love?" Lyra asks.
"How about Gerion, like my uncle?" Jaime says.
"I like that", Lyra says.
"Gerion Lannister, welcome to the world", Jaime says. "Send for our son to meet his brother, and maester, send ravens to Winterfell and King's Landing, to let our families know that a second son has been born to the lord and lady of Casterly Rock."
"Yes, milord", maester Craylen says, going to do his master's bidding.
"Lay our boy in his cot and help me wash, Jaime, and you three get fresh sheets on our bed," Lyra says to the servant girls.
"Yes, lady Lyra", the servant girls says.

Jaime puts the baby boy in the cot and helps Lyra undress and hands the bloodstained, torn nightdress to her servant girls before helping her in to the tub and starting to wash her.
"Dispose of the nightdress, it's too torn to be mended, burn it and bring out a new one, small clothes and a cloth to mop up any blood that might come after giving birth while my lady wife is healing", Jaime says.
"Yes, milord", the servant girls say, getting to work.
