You were a villain.

You only really did small crimes though.

You didn't pay for your groceries, stole money here and there, maybe killed someone once, but that's really it.

For some reason though, two Heroes seemed to be taking you extremely seriously.

Two of the top Heroes in the country; Dynamight and Red Riot.

They treated you as if you were a real threat.

You were standing on a bridge, above a lake.

Dumbass, you can't swim. Why on earth would you do that?

"So, villain, who are you really?" Dynamight asked you.

"...would you believe me if I told you I'm an actor?" You asked.

"No."

"Hm. What if I told you I'm a pirate?" You asked, in more of a mocking tone than last time.

"Ok, that's it."

You were punched in the face, and you fell into the lake.

...

Maybe you deserved that.

Well, now you were drowning.

What a way to go out. Lying to a Pro Hero.

On the plus side though, no one knew who you were, so that means maybe people on the internet will spend years trying to figure out who you were, only to be utterly disappointed when they find out that you... were just some dumbass.

And who knows, maybe people will write fanfic about you?

That'd be cool... maybe.

Just as you were thinking about everything that will happen after you die, you felt someone grab you.

He took a deep breath as he stood up out of the water, holding you in his arms.

You looked up, and saw that the person holding you...

Was none other than Red Riot.

And you hated how hot he looked right now.

The moment he set you down, you ran off.

The next day, you went to a restaurant.

And, while just... in public... you saw them.

Like... just looking like normal civilians.

You know they had normal lives as well as being Heroes, but...

It just felt weird to see them in normal clothes, and without their support items.

It felt similar to when you were a kid, and you'd see one of your teachers out in public.

But it's fine!

They won't recognize you!
