Your life had been great! You had done good in school, you had a well paying job, your house was nice, and everyone you met seemed to like you!

That was the case, until two weeks ago when your life seemed to take a... downward spiral, so to say. Terrible things just kept happening to you for no reason. Like for some examples, your boyfriend died, and two of your coworkers told you that they loved you.

That was how your life turned upside-down.

The morning it started, you were sitting on your couch, watching your favourite show. Even though you liked your job, it was nice to have a day off work. It was early in the morning, like, 5am exactly, but you didn't really care.

Then, you heard the doorbell.

You paused your show, and walked over to the door. When you opened it, you saw someone you knew well. He had black hair, red eyes, and sharp teeth.

"Hi (Name)...!" He said, waving his hand. You smiled slightly at him, then responded.

"Morning Eijiro..." You said sleepily. Looking up at him, you realized how wet his hair was. You didn't piece it together at first, but it was because it was raining. "So... do you wanna come in?" You asked him. He jumped a bit, then smiled.

"Oh! Yeah, I mean, that's why I'm here, isn't it?" He asked himself. Entering the house, he sat down on the couch, right next to where you had been sitting.

You handed him a hair elastic to tie his hair back, and he thanked you happily. You sat down on the couch next to him, and just looked at him. Eventually, you asked him something.

"So... why'd you come over so early?" You asked. He finished tying his hair back, then looked at you. He didn't answer, he just looked at you, as if he'd forgotten who you were for a second.

"Well, I..." He paused, looking away from you. "I... needed to talk to you about something."

"Oh? What is it?" You asked him. After that, he looked at you, almost shocked, and then he stood up. He moved over in front of you, then dropped to his knees and laid his head on your lap.

"I'm sorry for bothering you like this (Name)... I just needed to talk to someone about these feelings I've been having." He said. You were shocked about his sudden shift in mood, but it didn't seem to matter, as he just continued talking. "I think I'm in love with you, (Name)."

"W-what?" You stood up in shock, processing what he had just said to you.

"Please, I need you to understand! I just-" He sighed, maybe he was trying to think of the right thing to say? "You.. are one of the best things to happen to me. A-and I need you to.. I just need to make sure.. You love me too, right?!" He asked, starting to sound panicked.

"I.." You stopped. You didn't know what to say. There was just so much for you to take in! And so you, probably seeming rude, you told him "Get out."
