"Luffy? What's your game, anyways?" Nami said, looking at him suspiciously.
"No game." Luffy said. Throwing his hands behind his head.
"Well you just ripped through here like a whirlwind with Misaki in tow, so I wanna know what's up."
"We can't get anywhere moping around." Luffy said, grinning. "Whatever Misaki is going through, I can't convince her of anything by just hanging back and doing nothing. So... we are going to go back to normal."
"Whaaaaaaat?!" The crew exclaimed. Jean frowned, watching Luffy carefully.
"Yeah! She said she would go explore with us while we wait for Kramer. We are going to just enjoy today, the best we strawhats can!"
"I don't think it's that easy to —"
"Hey guys!" Misaki said, cutting Nami off.
She was wearing a red hat and a tan jacket — almost the same color as her hair, with a red hoodie underneath. And most of all, she was wearing a blue scarf, rather than her red one.
Nami looked at Luffy, whose smile fell quickly to a frown. Her heart ached for him.
"Oh. Hey, Misaki.... I, uh... nice... scarf..."
"S-sorry. I could tell it was gonna be cold but... I didn't want to... um... I didn't want to be disrespectful..."
"I— I wouldn't have!—" Luffy began, throwing his hands up in the air.
"N-no! I know! I just... um..."
"WOW! This is SUPER awkward! Why don't we just forget about it and go about our day!" Franky interjected, making everybody exhale heavily.
"I agree." Misaki mumbled. She was only outside for 2 minutes and she already looked exhausted. Jean wanted to hug her, but she still... ""Mom?" Misaki said, making Jean look up.
"Yes."
"I'm sorry... about last night."
"I know, hunny. But thank you." Jean smiled, coming over to hug her. Guess she didn't need to worry.
"And I'm sorry to everybody. I know I've been pretty uh... well pretty much a pain."
A ruckus erupted from the crew in jest to her comment. Nobody — not a single person felt that way. Luffy grinned as they all protested and pulled her into a group hug. This is what she needed. Her loving family, loving her, enjoying life with her. Not sitting in a dusty study that only Robin and Nami ever used.
"Are we ready, guys?" Luffy smiled.
"Yeah!"

When we got down to the dock, a huge gust of wind blew, making me almost lose my hat. Luckily, Luffy stretched his hand out and snatched it, handing it back to me cheerily. I smiled softly at him and threw the hat back on.
The wind never stopped, even as we moved through town. It was a good thing Luffy's hat had a draw string, as it angrily whipped around, trying desperately to escape him. My hat wasn't even the kind to get whipped off of a head, just a simple beanie, and yet it kept trying to escape me, over and over. I grinned as I looked at the enormous arch over the island, almost making it look like a wind tunnel.
