Luffy frowned as him and Usopp glided down to town on a paraglider. This is not how he hoped it would go. She wasn't as mad at him this time, however. Maybe she was warming back up to the idea of them, together? Or maybe she was trying a different approach with him? He really wasn't sure what to think. She still wouldn't talk to him. He had her all alone and still, nothing.
"You doin ok there, buddy?" Usopp said, looking at him steadily. "I'm guessing things didn't go well, since you know..you're here and she's... you know... there..."
They looked out to see Jean and Misaki, hooting and hollering as they glided out ahead of them. Damn. Didn't think I'd be jealous of Momma but... I wanted to do that.
"Luffy?" Usopp said, sounding more concerned.
"Oh... yeah..." Luffy said, wondering why Misaki was so embarrassed of him. She seemed so into that kiss in the moment, then the next thing he knew, she was calling it a mistake and telling him not to tell anybody about it. The only thing he could think of is that she was embarrassed. Or maybe... there was someone in particular she didn't want to find out. He glanced back at Sanji and Zoro, who were bickering nonstop. They looked like they were about to crash as they were going at it. Maybe Usopp should have stayed with Zoro.
Regardless, he was keen to talk to Robin soon. He almost wished he had brought Robin up to the bird ride. It was a decently private place to talk, and she was very keen on talking in as private an area as possible. Maybe he should bring her back there... He was really hoping she could shed some light on the situation. hm... damn, this is a lot of thinking. My head is starting to hurt.

"So, my lovely daughter," Momma began, looking at me as we glided down to town, "care to enlighten me yet on what's going on up in there."
I hesitated, looking at my mom innocently. Despite feeling safe up there, I wasn't sure how safe I really was to speak. I shrugged and looked away, carefully picking out my words before talking.
"I just... need some time, you know?" I said, hoping that was enough.
"That's bullshit." My mom said, raising an eyebrow. "That's what people say when they don't want to talk about the real reason."
"Well then, maybe you'll get the hint in that case." I said begrudgingly.
"Ohhhh?" My mom mocked, reaching over and pinching my cheek. "That's some real bullshit coming out of that lovely mouth of yours."
"Well that's all you're gonna get from me." I sighed, letting my cheek rest on the bar.
"Do you... do you need help?" My mom said, looking at me.
"I don't even know what that means." I muttered, making her laugh.
"Me neither. I was hoping you would know."
"Hah haaa." I mocked, rolling my eyes.
"Hey... wait a sec... are you... wearing two scarves?" My mom said, making me blush.
"I... uh... I was extra cold."
My mom leaned in, snatching the red felt that was tucked underneath the silky blue scarf.
