"Hey!! You guys don't have to push me!" I said, a little miffed at how literally pushy my mom and Nami were being. I could hear Robin giggling behind me and groaned. "Seriously?"
"Go oooon! We wanna see you guys off!" Nami said, pushing me harder.
As I exited onto the deck, I couldn't help but break out into a giggle as the two women tripped behind me. It didn't matter to them that the air was thick with pollen, or that the air was breezy yet had a hint of warmth to the wind. The commotion that followed was enough to make me break into a full laugh, letting my hand brush over my mouth in an attempt to stifle my giggles.
Then, I heard him. My head whipped back around as his voice cut straight through the commotion.
"Thank youuu, Sanji! I really appreciate— ah!"
Luffy clamped his mouth shut as his eyes met mine. His face immediately flushed red, and for a moment, the whole world stopped moving. Everything went silent, aside from the crashing of my heart in my ears.

In a split second, Luffy's jaw dropped, as did the picnic basket, which dropped heavily to the ground, spilling some of the contents as Sanji roared angrily beside him.
"Oh. Sorry, sorry." Luffy said, glancing down at the basket, scrambling to pick things up before looking up at me again. I watched him expectantly as he mouthed one simple word at me, making something tighten in my stomach. Wow.
I smiled sheepishly, approaching the two as I nervously grasped at the fabric against my sides.
"Guess it's too much, huh?" I said.
"A-are you kidding me?" Luffy stuttered, grinning as he scratched the back of his head. "You look perfect!"

"Really?" I hummed, rubbing my arm nervously as I ruffled my sleeve.
Luffy opened his eyes, looking so intently at me, it made my heart skip a beat.
"I think I went brain dead for a second there."
"You're being dramatic!" I said, trying to stop myself from grinning.
