Writer's note: sorry it is taking so long guys. I actually have the next 12 chapters planned but not written. I've had nothing but craziness with work. Also please remember I feel a lot more motivated with comments! Not a lot of comments lately :(
But Misaki's story is not over - crazy enough as it sounds lol. Stay tuned.

     "WOAHHHHHH THIS PLACE IS KINDA COOOOOOL!" Luffy said, a huge grin forming on his face.

     "Yeah! What's this stuff abou—"

    "Don't touch that!" The soldier snapped.

     I yanked my hand back and looked at him. He had been so quiet as he escorted us to the lab, his voice actually startled me.

    "Sorry!" I said. That guy gave me the creeps.

     Luffy immediately walked over and picked up a watch sitting directly next to what I had grabbed, making the soldier jolt upright.

    "I don't get what the big deal is. They're just watches." He said, eyeing it closely.

     "Actually," a familiar voice came from behind us. "It's definitely more than just a watch."

    "Mitch!" I said, smiling at the young man. "Why are you here?"

    "Well, apparently I'm taking over here, since a certain someone ended up in prison." Mitch said. He walked over to Luffy and tapped the watch. "Take a closer look."

    Luffy's bottom lip pushed up as he narrowed his eyes at the watch. An annoyed hmmmm rumbling through his throat as he studied it. Suddenly, a look of realization hit.

    "There are two times! Why?!" Luffy said, looking closer at the watch.

     The one on the left is synced to the time in your world, including day and time, down to the millisecond. The one in the middle shows the current time dilation. And the one on the right is set to calibrate to whatever world you are currently in. Almost like a log pose calibrates depending on the magnetic field." Mitch said, quickly and sheepishly adding, "Sorry. I've been diving really hard into the show so I can learn more. There's a lot to learn, being more than just a grunt or scientist now. Not saying we are going to keep pursuing your world! But we did get this idea from the log pose!"

     "You're a scientist, Mitch?" I asked, tilting my head. I noticed he exhaled a little hard in relief. Probably glad we weren't acting suspicious of him. Though, I definitely felt better, knowing Mitch was taking over. Not a single thing about him gave me a bad vibe. I trusted him fully and completely.

    "Sure am!" Mitch said, tossing a watch to each of them. "These are gifts from the government. An extra peace offering, if you will."

    "That's FANTASTIC!" Kramer exclaimed, quickly fastening the watch to his wrist.

    "Eh." Luffy said, shrugging. "I'm good."

    "Same here." Zoro said.

    Everybody then looked at me, making me blush. "I mean! I am the one who got yanked around in the first place. It would be good to see the dilation. Is there any way I can see the dilation in this world in case it warps?"

    "Actually," Mitch said, walking over to me and fastening the watch to my wrist. He reached down and twisted a little knob on it. "I made yours so that you can toggle it to this world. It will be on the left like Luffy's world. I set the numbers to blue, so you can tell the difference."

    "Wow! Thanks Mitch!!" I said, grinning at him.

     "I hope it suffices for you." He grinned back.
