A/N: I don't know why this never occurred to me. Like, seriously, imagine how amazing and romantic it would be to go flying around on a broom stick. I mean, Percy would be clinging for dear life but still.

....................

Percy was reading a book as he lazed around the house, waiting for his boyfriend, his fiancé to get home.

The door creaked open as Oliver walked in, looking semi-exhausted from the day.

"How was the match?" Percy questioned.

"We won, but a bludger nearly bashed my head in." Oliver groaned as he fell on the couch and on top of Percy.

"Oliver, I just took a shower and you're filthy, get off." Percy complained as he attempted to push Oliver off him. Unfortunately, Oliver was heavier than Percy and had much more muscle, so he was able to stay put.

Oliver looked at Percy, "can't you console me? Or just cuddle with me for a bit, we can take a shower together later." Oliver suggested. Percy sighed and stopped pushing.

"Let's take a bath. You need one." Percy whispered, and Oliver begrudgingly got up.

"I still don't understand what's so fun about riding around on a broomstick." Percy admitted, leaning against Oliver as they sat in the hot water.

"It's not just a broomstick Percy. You know what, tomorrow I'll show you why it's fun. It's our day off after all." Oliver smiled, grabbing shampoo to wash Percy's hair.

"You're obsessed, you know that?" Percy laughed, Oliver massaging shampoo into his hair.

"Maybe so, but I still love you more than I'll ever love Quidditch. That's the truth. And I just want to share my lives with my love." Oliver said softly.

"Oh Merlin, you're so cheesy." Percy snorted.

"But you love me." Oliver reminded.

"That I do." Percy smiled, closing his eyes as Oliver doted on him.

"Percy, wake up," Oliver opened the blinds, "I told you didn't I? We're flying today."

Percy groaned as he got up from bed, "it's barely six in the morning, on our day off too. Can't we sleep in?" Percy complained.

"It's still dark out, and when the sun rises.... the sight is beautiful. Come on Percy, get up." Oliver coerced.

"Fine, fine. Don't blame me if we don't have sex for the next few weeks." Percy said as he got up, stretching a bit.

"Really Percy? Who's the one who gets in the mood the most?" Oliver teased. Percy blushed a bit.

"Oliver, you arse." Percy groaned as he went to get dressed. Oliver left the room to make a quick breakfast, giving Percy a quick kiss before he left. Percy had his lips in a pout the entire time that he was getting dressed. When he finished, he walked out to see Oliver had quickly made some buttered toast for them. "Nothing fancy I see."

"It's enough. You'll love this, don't worry." Oliver assured and the two quickly ate their toast and headed outside. Oliver already grabbed his broom and got on.

"Where the room i'm using?" Percy asked.

"You'd fall off if I gave you one. Here, you're getting on mine with me." Oliver held a hand out.

"Won't it break?" Percy questioned worriedly.

"It won't. Get on." Percy warily boarded and hugged Oliver tightly as soon as he got on. Oliver kicked off the ground as they started to fly. Oliver flew around a bit to get Oliver used to the feeling of flying, before heading off into a muggle city, wear the lights would be brightest.

Percy held on tightly, his head resting on Oliver's back , looking at the world below. Oliver started singing softly as they flew.

"I can show you the world. Shining, shimmering, splendid. Tell me, Percy, now when did you last let your heart decide?"

"Idiot, the last time was when I accepted your proposal." Percy whispered, looking at the twinkling lights of the city. Amazed at the view.

"I can open your eyes, take you wonder by wonder, over, sideways and under, on a magic carpet ride. A whole . A new fantastic point of view. No one to tell us no or where to go, or say we're only dreaming." Oliver sang as Percy smiled softly at his idiot fiancé, starting to sing his own verse.

"A whole new world. A dazzling place I never knew. But when I'm way up here, it's crystal clear, that now I'm in a whole new world with you." Percy sang happily, enjoying the ride.

"Now I'm in a whole new world with you." Oliver sang softly, waiting for Percy to continue.

"Unbelievable sights. Indescribable feelings! Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling, through an endless diamond sky! A whole new world!"

"Don't you dare close your eyes."

"A hundred thousand things to see"

"Hold your breath, it gets better." Oliver commented as he flew closer to the city, running besides buildings.

"I'm like a shooting star, I've come so far, I can't go back, to where I used to be!" Percy laughed as he sang, now looking about as they flew. The two started singing together, changing between lines, starting with Oliver.

"A whole new world!"

"Every turn a surprise!"

"With new horizons to pursue!"

"Every moment red-letter"

The two sang the next line together, in perfect harmony, even though their voices were nothing outrageously amazing.

"I'll chase them anywhere. There's time to spare. Let me share this whole new world with you..." Percy smiled softly once again.

"Thank you Oliver, for showing me all of this." Percy sighed in content.

"We're not done quite yet." Oliver assured, and the two once again started singing, once again starting with Oliver as he flew high into the sky and zoomed out of the city towards a more forest like area with a giant lake.

"A whole new world!"

"A whole new world!"

"That's where we'll be!"

"That's where we'll be!"

"A thrilling chase!"

"A wondrous place!"

Then they finished the song off as Oliver flew over the water, Percy being able to lean down slightly and touch it.

"For you and me...."

Oliver flew them back to their house, landing softly and letting Percy off first. When Oliver got off, Percy was blushing a bit.

"Now I can see why you're so obsessed with flying." Percy smiled.

Oliver pressed a kiss to Percy's forehead, "maybe we should do that again sometime." Oliver suggested as the sun started to rise, making the most beautiful view for the two to look at. Percy smiled once again at Oliver, tanking him down into a kiss.

It was the best beginning of the day either could ask for.

"Removed what I said earlier, about not complaining if we don't, you know? Well, may be the heat of the moment, but why don't you warm me up?" Percy blushed.

"That impressed, huh? Well, let's go warm up."

The two headed back inside. What they did for the rest of the day, well, that's another story.
