Lily x James ~ New Years

A/N: First of all, I am screaming because I have over 1k reads! Thank you guys for all taking time to read my one shots. Also, for the sake of New Years, I decided to make this one shot. Hope all of you like it and have happy holidays!

"Can I get a kiss?" James asked with a smirk present on his face.

"You are unbelievable." Lily sighed. They were at a New Years party, a few minutes until midnight. It was a crazy party I guess. Sirius was being the flirt he was, even though he had a boyfriend. Remus was having to pull him away from practically everyone.

"I know I am." James said.

"Can you believe it's our last year at Hogwarts?" Lily questioned, changing the topic.

"I can't. What do you plan to do after Hogwarts?" James asked.

"I really don't know. Maybe I could be a healer. I didn't really plan this time. What about you?" Lily asked.

"Maybe a professional quiddich player, or a Auror." James said.

"Guys, time for the countdown!" Molly exclaimed excitedly.

"10." Sirius stArted, his arm around his blushing boyfriend.

"Happy New Years!" James pulled Lily close and gave her a long and passionate kiss. Sirius did the same to his boyfriend. Well, everyone kissed their partners. To add to the effect, a very single Peter and a few other single guests had set off fireworks that lit up the sky in shimmering lights that gave the perfect mood.

"Woah. That's beautiful." Lily said with a dreamy smile on her face.

"Not as beautiful as you." James whispered. Lily leaned into James. The night was perfect. They were all 17 and carefree, oblivious to the future. Unaware to their dark fates.

"Maybe someday I'll have a kid and stand here with you." Lily whispered.

"It would be perfect." James chuckled lightly.

"I love you James." Lily told.

"I know. I love you." James replied. James kissed Lily once more, not caring who saw.
