Harry slams his fists against the walls, tears flooding down his face.

"Harry...." Hermione says softly. Harry turned around so fast, it was like he never moved.

"This is why I can't get attached! Everyone! I mean everyone I care for dies!" Harry shouted.

"It's not your fault Harry." Hermione assured.

"You have no idea what it's like do you?" Harry questions, his eyes stinging painfully.

"What do you mean?" Hermione questions.

"In my 19 years of life, I've seen so much death, some I can't remember. You didn't hear the screaming and the sobbing as your parents were murdered in front of your eyes." Harry growled.

"Harry!" Hermione tried desperately to calm him down.

"You weren't there when Cedric died. He fell to the ground, believing he was a champion. His stone cold eyes frozen in horror. You don't know." Harry went on, tears not stopping.

"I've lost friends too Harry." Hermione said, causing Harry to shot her a glare.

"The last words my godfather said to me was 'good one James' before he was murdered. Falling through the veil. I couldn't even be given the comfort of planning his funeral and saying my goodbyes. I didn't have that!" Harry screamed, falling apart.

"Harry!" Hermione pleaded.

"You didn't see him fall Hermione. You didn't hear him ask to be spared. You weren't there when Dumbledore died." Harry hissed.

"Harry." Hermione was getting teary eyed now.

"You weren't there when the last of my childhood disappeared, when my snowy owl died in front of my eyes." He said softly.

"Harry." Hermione whispered, sobbing.

"When Dobby died, I broke. He nearly killed me, trying to save my life. I miss him." Harry sobbed loudly.

"Har-" Harry cut her off.

"You didn't see how much pain I was in, seeing Remus and Tonks, dead. Holding hands, even in death. The last father figure I had." Harry whimpered.

"Oh merlin. Harry." Hermione whispered.

"You didn't see how much I blamed myself for Fred's death. One of the people who made my day, every day. The one I thought would live a long and beautiful life." Harry choked.

"Harry." Hermione stepped a little bit closer.

"When Snape died, I saw all the pain behind his eyes. I reminded him of my mother. I saw his memories Hermione." Harry sobbed.

"Harry." Hermione choked. He wasn't listening to her.

"You don't know how guilty I felt having any blood on my hands. Even if it was the blood of Voldemort. Hermione, I lose people, I killed people. I'm cursed. That's why I can't get attached, I'll lose them." Harry sighed sadly.

"Oh Harry." Hermione hugged her friend, holding him closely. Harry cried and cried with Hermione.

"And now, we lo-lost Ron because of my stupidity." Harry choked.

"Harry, it wasn't your fault that some drunk driver hit him. Stop blaming yourself." Hermione said softly.

"Everyone around me dies Hermione. People are afraid of me. Why aren't you?" He questions her, looking at her equally teary face.

"Because Harry, I'm your best friend. I will never be afraid of you. I promise you that." Hermione got out, putting a weak smile on her face.

"Thanks Hermione, you have no idea how much that helped." Harry hugged Hermione again, the beeping of the machine getting louder as Harry sat down and laid down.

"Don't blame yourself Harry." Hermione smiled sadly, knowing he was going soon.

"Do you think they'll like who I turned out to be?" Harry questions.

"They'll love you." Hermione choked. Harry laughed quietly and closed his ever so tired eyes.

"I wonder what heaven is like?" He said softly before the machine made one final beep, and Harry's chest stopped rising. Hermione sobbed into her hands. She just lost her two best friends.
