Sirius x Remus ~ What Will I Do After Hogwarts?

The marauders lounged outside.

"I'm going to marry Lily one day." James said as he looked up at the sky.

"And I'll teach at Hogwarts." Remus said sarcastically.

"Mate, she and you have just started dating. Don't scare her off." Sirius says.

"I think you'll marry her. It's possible." Peter says.

"There she is now! See you later guys!" James got up and ran towards Lily.

"Peter, don't you have detention?" Remus asked. Peter jumped up and ran away.

"Do you really think James will marry Lily?" Sirius asked Remus.

"With his determination, yeah. But I seriously doubt I'll get a job after seventh year is over." Remus said in a bored voice.

"Hey, I'm your friend! We could live together. I'll have the job and you just be there to help me with my blunders." Sirius says.

"I am not becoming your house elf. Maybe I can get a job in the muggle world." Remus said with a slight sigh.

"You are such a downer Remus." Sirius complains.

"I can't help it. I'm going to starve or something! You and James have plenty of money to last you, and you guys aren't a werewolf." Remus growled.

"Remus. Hey. I know things aren't easy, but we'll all get through it. We always do." Sirius says. Remus smiled a bit.

"Thanks Sirius. I'm glad to have you as a friend." Remus tells him. Sirius smiles kindly at his friend as they lean back against the tree. They both enjoy the moments they still have together. While they aren't exactly dating or admitting their feelings or something really stupid like that, it goes to show that friendship is the greatest love of all.
