"You're what?" Ron exclaimed. Harry flinched at his best friends loud voice.
"I'm gay. And I'm gay for Draco Malfoy." Harry repeats.
"How can you like that ferret? He was awful to all of us for the past 5 years." Ron tied to reason.
"I don't know how I like him, I just do. And I know he's been an awful person to us." Harry sighs.
"Well, I can't be a friend with a gay!" Ron snarled.
"Ron!" Harry exclaimed. Ron angrily walked away as Harry stopped. He walked outside and towards the lake. His feet crunched in the snow.
"Hey Potter, where's the friend of yours? Weasley? Did he ditch you?" Draco laughed. Harry couldn't help it, his eyes watered. He didn't even bother responding to Draco as he kept walking. "Potter!" Harry felt a hand on his shoulder. He involuntary flinched. As soon as Draco saw Harry, his face seemed worried. "What's wrong?" Draco asked.
"Why do you care Malfoy?" Harry asked in a defeated tone.
"Why are you crying?" Draco demanded.
"Not that it's any of your business, but my so called friend doesn't support my sexuality. And he just stopped being friends with me." Harry said.
"Are you gay or something?" Draco questions curiously.
"Yes." Harry admits.
"Hey, don't feel bad about it. I'm gay too. My so called friends beat me up for it but oh well. It's not our choice to be this way." Draco says with a comforting smile.
"Why are you being so nice to me! We're enemies!" Harry exclaimed.
"I don't want to fight anymore." Draco says. Harry sighed and looked at Draco.
"Yeah, I don't want to fight anymore either." Harry says.
"So, truce?" Draco questions, holding out his hand like he did first year. Harry looked at it and grabbed it.
"Let's head back, I'm freezing." Harry says. The two boys head back and reach the school.
"Hey Harry, mistletoe." Draco said, looking above their heads. Harry did indeed see the mistletoe.
"This is awkward." Harry says.
"Just kiss me you idiot." Draco said as he pulled Harry into a kiss.
