Book- Greed
Author- scrabblepostBlurb:
Blurb is very intriguing. Mystery along with fantasy, seems like a great combo. From the blurb, we get to know the basics of the case and the characters. Not to forget about the mysterious cave. The story seems promising. Looking forward to reading it.
Moving towards the chapters,
Fantastic start. Without beating around the bush, the story starts with the action. I like the way the blood and her hand slipping on it is described. I could imagine the entire scene.
The gem she found, and the way she didn't remember how it happened was showcased nicely. I like how the mystery goes hand in hand with the fantasy from the first chapter itself.
Ps: This Trisha fainted at the end of the opening chapter too, just like the Trisha of my book. Although the books are vastly different, I chuckled at the little coincidence.
I enjoyed the fun conversation between the police officers. I also liked how Aditya stood his ground in front of the Mayor. It portrayed his courage and added to his personality.
I didn't expect another murder too soon. The story has become more intriguing. I assume it is because of the gem Trisha found.
The fact that forensics and back up came so soon because the house was Mayor's was highly relatable.
I don't think Trisha's mother is behind this, but she seems like a possible suspect. And the fact that the Mayor hesitated while answering, would definitely raise questions. All of these are nicely portrayed, efficiently adding to the crime mystery. I would have definitely assumed it was her mother if it wasn't for the gem Trisha found.
The mystery keeps adding and I am on my edge to find out what would come next.
The harsh reality of what happens to the innocents when culprits are from the houses of powerful people is shown very well. Also two sides of the police are also portrayed, making all of it seem so real.

Writing style is really good. It has kept me hooked to the story from the very first word.
All the characters are so relatable. Their anger, fear, confusion, panic, power; each and every emotion shows through and connects with her.
Plot is fabulous. The way dots keep connecting yet keeping us out of loop is great. I think I have an idea of what's happening, but it is still interesting to see how the police officer would solve it. And seeing the writing and efficiency, I won't be surprised if the ending turns out to be very different from what readers are being made to assume.
Story is engaging. Always keeps us on our toes, curious to see what will happen next.
Like all your stories, it is hard to put down the book once I start reading it. The chapters flow so smoothly, it seems impossible to stop.
There weren't any grammatical errors I could find. I also like how the writing is simplistic while the concept is complex. It makes the reading experience all the more enjoyable.
Last words,
I absolutely enjoyed reading the story. I will definitely complete the whole book soon. I loved all aspects of this story.
Having read three to four of your booka until now, I have become a fan of your writing. Awesome work done.
Thanks for choosing me. Keep writing!!
