Book- The Butterfly effect.

I am not reviewing the cover, but couldn't help but mention this. Cover is really really beautiful. It is so eye-pleasing.
Blurb:
Blurb is well-written. It doesn't give away much information but provides us a gist of what to expect from the story.
For the last sentence: It isn't wrong but I feel 'any idea' would suit better than 'an idea'.
Moving towards the chapters,
I like the quotes at the beginning of all chapters. They really set the tone of the story.
Great description of the library. And the comparison of it with a 60's documentary film gave out a nice picture.
The safe fictional corner😁
Just because they don't have the luck to get the golden touch of the main lead's hands.- Awesome sentence, had me chuckling. And the para following that too. It also showed some of the main lead's personality traits.
Heart's forever enemy - Brain. Love these one liners.
It is intriguing to know that she didn't know his full face from before. Wondering the reason why. I have a few guesses, would love to see how it turns out.
The bond between Juliet and Maddie is really awesome. Their friendship is cute as well as fun to read.
The conversation between her Dad and Juliet was really hilarious. Juliet's personality is really enjoyable to read.
The paragraph about needing help sometimes and we don't get small by asking for it. So beautifully written.
Well my predictions about why she couldn't see his face before were wrong 🤷🏻, but doesn't matter.
I like that the past was included. The bond between the father and daughter was beautiful. And I also enjoyed the first meeting of the main lead's. There wasn't much conversation between them, but the new found crush Juliet had one him was shown really well through her actions.
Now that he has approached her, I can literally feel her heart thudding from here.
The curiosity to see what happened in the past has increased to a much higher level.
There aren't much cliffhangers yet the intrigue is all over, keeping us on the edge.
Glad to see Mile's point of view. Everything is still mysterious, and we still don't know what happened. More guess work for me😁. However, we now know how he feels. And whatever must have happened in the past, Juliet doesn't have the whole story.
Nightmares dressed like fluffy daydreams- awesome lines.
I really felt bad for Juliet, and almost facepalmed when Miles was confused by Juliet's behavior, like he didn't have any hand in it. This also showed one of his character traits, making him into a more relatable character.
The burn...I absolutely loved the way Juliet responded to Riya. Loved her confidence and how she handled it. It also showed that her dad's words from earlier really were engraved in her mind.
The last chapter that I was supposed to read ended in such a way that would make anyone excited to read the next chapter. Ah! The butterflies (or in your case dragons 😉)
*****
Characterization is done brilliantly. All characters where main leads or supporting characters connect really well. Their emotions, humour, style, mysterious aura, aloofness; everything is conveyed brilliantly through their actions.
I found the descriptions a little more than what I prefer, but they weren't too much to get deterred from the story. So it's all good.
Dialogues and punchlines are great. And I really love the one-liners in this story.
Writing style is really awesome. There's never been a dull moment. And it is easier to get engrossed in the story. I like the idea of changing from first person to third person when the story changes from present to past. Of course, the dates help but this makes it easier for the mind to distinguish between present and past.
Grammar:
One missing quotation mark in chapter 5.
Tenses fluctuated sometimes, but it didn't break the flow of the story.
Apart from these negligible mistakes, the story was grammatically well-written.
Last words,
Great concept and storyline. Never thought a real story could be so interesting. And it has also been written so well that you couldn't help but fall in love with the characters.
The one-liners and Juliet's character were to die for.
It was an amazing story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
Thanks for choosing me. Keep writing!!
