The cover was beautifully done. The only thing I'd change is the color of the title. It doesn't stand out and titles should be the main focus on a cover.
The blurb was short but told us exactly what to expect, their romance.
The hook felt kind of flat and didn't grab my attention too much. As far as originality I have yet to read a story like this. That being said the plot seemed to be overshadowed by their romance. I had no idea what the story was about except for two kids being in love.
The female lead went from a violent classmate to a bashful girl friend that was cute to read. Whereas Izumi wouldn't stop teasing her also adorable.
The grammar wasn't the best and there quite a few times when the wrong tense was used. Adding inner thoughts is is great and adds character depth but only when executed properly.
The flow was decent enough, and a rather enjoyable read the only thing I found odd is how quickly the characters said I love you being they only want on one date.
