SO SO SO SORRY ABOUT THE WAIT!!

Title: 5/5

Love the title. It fits the story very well. I personally love titles that incorporate the fantasy world so I loved this one.

Cover: 4/5

The cover is decent. I like the image and the color scheme. The font chosen is great for the story the only issue is the author's name isn't on it. It might've just been cropped but I just thought I'd say something.

Blurb: 5/5

The blurb is amazing! The first line was gripping and caught my attention. It proceeds to introduce the MC, Bailey, along with the main plot. Great job1

Plot: 20/20

Honestly, this is the kind of book kid me would've devoured. It has everything I love in it. So it's no surprise I loved every second of this. And yes I read every chapter. So I could give a better review cause I had to know what happened next and then I couldn't stop.

The plot is well thought out, the cliffhangers are brilliant, and the pacing is perfect. I read it in two-ish hours and I loved every second.

Spoilers ahead.

The twist with Seth holy moly brilliant. This book made me feel like a kid again. It's magical. Every chapter added something to either the plot or character building. The ending with Brandy knowing all along was sad. I kind of thought she did but seeing it in her pov was heartbreaking. At least to me, it was.

Characters: 15/15

When I say I loved these characters it's an understatement. I adored them so much. Bailey was the perfect guy to have led it. The way he's so protective over his sister is so sweet despite him being a kid himself he really took on so much responsibility. Brandy needs to be protected at all costs. She's so adorable. Seth is such a funny character with a tragic backstory. I'm so glad he got to see his family again. The characters felt so real and were written marvelously.

Writing style: 19/20

I love your writing style. It's gripping and fits this story perfectly. You have great descriptions and the dialogue flowed. The interactions between characters felt natural. Great job!

Grammar/spelling/vocabulary: 18/20

I did notice some mistakes. They weren't super distracting though so I didn't mark them down. But mainly it was missing punctuation, and there were a few moments where the sentence read weirdly.

Engagement: 10/10

I think it's kinda obvious it engaged me. I was hooked from line one and kept wanting more. Even though it ended perfectly I would totally read more if you ever made a sequel.

Overall: 96/100

Overall, you have a wonderful story! Your characters are wonderful and your plot is great. Maybe see about going back and editing a bit but other than that it's great. Keep up the great work and good luck with all your future writings!
