Narrator pov. Continuing~

As they flew further down and away from the ship, Irene looked up at KID as he commented, "Can't believe they'd toss you out of the ship." He sounded angry, "You have the appearance of a little girl for Kami's sake."

She felt him tighten his grip a bit.

She responded in her usual tone, "Actually, they'd have done it to Kudo-kun instead of me for the same reason, so I'm not as surprised. I tried not to get caught by defusing the bombs earlier, so it won't happen, though."

She looked up at him again, "Gomen, now you're out of the ship with me because I was slow."

KID shook his head, "Nah, don't worry about it. At least we're lucky to be alive."

He swerved in the air as Irene felt the rush of wind.

Just like in the movie, they landed at Aichi Prefecture, Sakushima, on the beach.

KID lowered her to the sand before deactivating his hang glider, and they both looked up to see the airship heading west.

KID had his hands in his pockets, turning his head to look down at her, "So, what now? You said this is expected to happen."

Irene also looked down away from the ship, turning toward him, "Well, in the movie, Kudo-kun calls Hattori-kun to tell him what's going on."

He tilted his head, "And that helps us get back up there?"

She shook her head, "No, some other coincidence does."

They then heard the bleat of a goat, which approached KID.

KID immediately crouched down and started petting the goat as it licked him.

Irene stared for a second, "Just so you know, you'll be in charge of cleaning up its poop from the lair if we take it home."

He gave her a glare and a pout at that, but she ignored him and looked back up at the sky.

Waiting for that "other coincidence" to appear.

Yep, this is just about how the conversation after getting thrown out went.

You can see Kaito's protective older brother instincts showing. :3

And of course Irene had to pin the responsibility on Kaito for cleaning up the goat's mess since he's the one who looks like he wants to take it home.

Though she's obviously joking since Kaito has no way to bring it back with him.

And now we're waiting on the police helicopter. Wonder how they'll use it to get back on the ship.

Would it go like canon? Would Irene use a different way? We'll find out next chapter!
