Narrator pov. Continuing~

At first, the leader looked away and responded, "Not telling."

Kogoro had woken up around this time, and got everything explained to him.

Ginzo narrowed his eyes in annoyance before Jirokichi let Lupin the dog loose, and the canine ran close, then growled at the leader, gnashing his teeth.

The leader seemed to relent then, since the dog kept leaning closer to bite at his head, "It's lacquer. A fast-acting one that the waitress sprayed around the smoking room."

Everyone seemed to blink before Jirokichi said, "Just lacquer?"

Irene wasn't surprised, of course.

She then said, "Ja, we only need the (infected) ones to wash themselves with alcohol, and they should be fine."

Everyone seemed to process this.

Mouri and Suzuki let out sighs of relief.

Ayumi questioned, "Ja, Conan-kun is okay?"

Irene nodded, "He should be."

Agasa questioned, "Wait, but Fujioka-san had rashes all over his body, and he was the first infected."

Everyone seemed concerned.

Before Irene reminded, "The cameraman and the reporter lady were the first to mention the bacteria, and they turned out to be bad guys."

Everyone looked at the tied-up criminals, the two mentioned with them.

Ginzo and Kogoro connected the dots, the former leaning close to the leader, "He's one of you, too, isn't he?"

It wasn't the leader to answer this time, but Ginzo got a phone call from his phone, as everyone's phones were taken back, and he answered it.

Megure had been contacted by Nara prefecture police, who had still arrested the Buddha thieves thanks to Hattori, like canon, and he was telling his report to Ginzo about who the group was.

Irene knew that Satoshi would take over getting Hattori to realize the truth, so she wasn't surprised.

After the phone call ended, Ginzo turned to Jirokichi, "He's their boss, they're all hired foreign mercenaries, except the cameraman and Kasumi-san, who work with him."

Jirokichi nodded, "That explains how he was the first infected."

Irene said, "Should we let everyone out now?"

They all agreed, deciding to go to the smoking room first.

Masaki was shocked to know his coworkers were also with the hijackers, but was relieved to know he wasn't going to die, immediately rushing to sanitize his hands with the prep room's alcohol sanitizers.

They then went to the infirmary, finding out someone locked it from the outside, and unlocked it to see both Edogawa and the ponytailed waitress tied-up.

Fujioka got up, going to put on an act, but Lupin tackled him back down, biting his arm as Mouri went to untie Edogawa first, while Jirokichi untied the waitress.

Mouri asked, "Conan-kun, are you okay?"

He slowly nodded, "Un... But does anyone know why Fujioka-san did that?"

The whole truth was explained to him.

And then Ayumi wondered, "Though I wonder when Conan-kun's arm got touched with lacquer, but it doesn't matter now! You'll be okay!"

She and the two boys smiled at him.

He gave a slow nod before his gaze landed on Irene, who had her own looking away.

After both he and the waitress washed up, and the police took all the criminals out of the ship, the pilots resumed control and continued their route to Osaka.

As Jirokichi was given the jewel back, and he put it back in the case for the KID showdown later, Edogawa approached Irene.

"We need to talk." his tone was serious but not angry.

She nodded, and they went to talk alone away from everyone.

"You're the one who got lacquer from the smoking room on my arm, right?" They both knew it was more of a rhetorical question.

She nodded anyway, and replied, "It was to get you away from all the danger."

He sighed, "So, like the thing with Irish then. I figured."

She nodded again, "Gomen. I made you panic like that."

He shook his head, "It's fine. At least that helped work things out faster, right?"

Another nod, "A lot faster. Mostly because KID helped in taking them all down, and I knew all the hidden criminals in our group."

He nodded, hands in his pockets, "Then it's all good."

He looked away, "I heard from those guys about you being thrown out the window... I'm glad KID saved you," he added quietly, "Especially since you would've let it happen, which means I would fail to see you smile again."

She blinked, but he started walking back to the lounge before she could comment, arms behind his head, as he said, "Speaking of, his showdown is happening in two more hours; we should go back so we won't miss it."

She tilted her head but ended up shrugging it off and following him.

AN: Done! Hope you guys liked it!

Yep, the truth has been revealed, and Heiji still played his part cause Satoshi would probably still get him to realize about the temples the same way Kaito did to Conan in canon.

And Irene apologized to Conan properly.

Though we all caught what he said there. >v>

Finally, movie 14 is done! That was fun, especially as it's the first movie where Conan wasn't allowed to do shiz till the end.
