Everyone stared at Irene in surprise.
Ayumi then asked, "Really, Irene-chan?"
Irene nodded, "Un."
Jirokichi approached, "Well, how did he do it? How did he and his accomplices use the keys to open the pillar when they're nailed to the wall, and without anyone seeing his signal?"
Irene shook her head, "He didn't need the keys and wasn't helped by accomplices to open it."
"Eh?" Everyone let out.
Irene continued, "Not knowing ones, anyway."
She glanced at the Detective boys, who all blinked.
She then glanced at Edogawa, who was still seemingly unconscious on the floor, "You all remember the words on the pillar, right?"
They all nodded or gave sounds of agreement.
Irene continued while glancing at the pillar, "The truth is, KID figured it out, what moving with the flow to acquire the Kirin without the correct method means. And he used that flow without anyone realizing it."
Everyone looked surprised, and Jirokichi asked, "I guess that makes sense. But what is the flow?"
She glanced at each pedestal around the room, then at the rest of the Detective Boys, before looking back up at the adults, "Well, we, the Detective Boys, figured out earlier that each of the pedestals in the 4 corners of the room represents legendary deities."
She glanced at her friends, "Can each of you go to the pedestals you guarded and say which one represented which god again?"
The 4 nodded before scattering to each pedestal.
Mitsuhiko went first, "The green pedestal represents the Seiryu."
Then Ayumi, "The white pedestal is Byakko!"
Genta pointed at his, "The black one is Genbu!"
Ai was last, "And the red pedestal represents Suzakku."
Irene took the reins back then, "And if each of those pedestals had statues of those gods before, then the flow mentioned on the foot of the pillar must be the flow of the gods."
Jirokichi wondered, "But was there a specific order to the 4 gods?"
Irene responded, "It's the order of the seasons."
