AN: The next part. It's an original scene from Irene's pov. Hope you enjoy it!

Narrator pov. Continuing~

Irene ran all the way out of the cave and then through the path to the dam, not stopping until she reached inside.

She then ran in just as Yamao knocked out the two dam personnel with the stun gun, and he turned around as he heard the footsteps, looking down at her with a glare, "You... You're one of the brats with Mouri-tantei."

Irene's gaze went from his face to the detonator in his hand, and she immediately went to grab at it, jumping at him, but Yamao reacted by pulling his hand away, turning the stun gun on again.

At first, he tried to thrust at her with the stun gun, but she kept dodging and getting further away while staying in the security room with him, so he clicked his tongue, placed the detonator in his mouth to hold it horizontally, and pulled his rifle from his back, cocking it.

Irene kept her eyes on him and took cover whenever he shot a bullet, looking for something to throw at his mouth that would knock the detonator away at the same time, her expression not changing.

It was either get the detonator away from him or keep him distracted like this until Edogawa got here, at least.

Unfortunately, though, Yamao had a dirty plan form as he smirked, the detonator in his mouth muffling a bit, "You're here to try and save everyone, aren't you, girlie?" He cocked his rifle before pointing it at the passed-out worker on the floor, "Well, I'll make sure to take at least one life then."

Irene's body moved in time just as he fired, shielding the worker in time as the bullet hit her abdomen instead, making blood splatter all around the floor.

She coughed, before immediately taking the time he was cocking the gun again to hide away from his view, finding something to throw out the door and get him to leave, which worked.

She treated her wound while hiding and took out her badge, "Kudo-kun, can you hear me?"

She got an answer immediately, able to hear the thud of hurried footsteps and him breathing hard, "Yeah, I'm here. We reached the dam, and I'm on the way to the security room-"

"Don't." She cut him off, "Don't come up here," she coughed.

There was a pause, "Why? What's going on?" 

She coughed again, "Just don't-" she heard Yamao starting to get far away, which meant he'd figure out she tricked him and would come back here soon, "I have to go," she ended the call.

After making sure she wouldn't bleed out now after treating her wound, she got out of her hiding spot and left the security room, going to find somewhere safer to hide.

Hopefully, at least Yamao wouldn't run into Edogawa still.

Yep, Irene tried to get the detonator away from him, but ended up getting shot and having to hide. That was a serious wound too, poor her.

Oh well, at least she tried, and it was pretty cool.

Hopefully, Conan listens to her warning... (... If only-)
