Prompt: Liam and Niall are forced to get to know each other for a dare, and Liam doesn't like Niall in any way, but must act like he does. Will he ever appreciate Niall in the way that the Irish boy wants?

Niall tapped his pencil against the notebook slightly underneath his arms, clenching his jaw as he wrote his story that had been in the works for quite a long while. It was about what he wanted for the future, what he desired to obtain for his own benefits.

A certain popular brunette was one of the many things he strived to receive, to make the boy realize that he was actually gay, so Niall could have him all to himself. He has wanted Liam since the middle point of their education, nobody else ever peaking his interest or showing the qualities Liam had.

Even if the bad boy could be a little stubborn, ignorant and even delusional at times, Niall still had feelings for Liam and they'd never fade. Liam could never fade from his mind.

Speaking of the daredevil himself, Liam just walked into the study hall that he had with his friends and obviously Niall. The Irish boy only glanced at the gorgeous brunette, feeling his cheeks heat up quick as Liam sat down.

The popular boy turned to his friends after glancing at Niall, feeling uncomfortable while the other boys in his group laughed at him.

“Looks like someone is thinking about you, Liam... I hear Niall always does, and it's qusite hilarious to think that he has a chance with you.” Liam nodded, feeling more embarrassed at the fact of Niall thinking about him; he didn't like it one bit.

“Yeah, it's whatever. The gay f-”

“Hey! Using that nickname is stretching it out a little bit, Payno,” Louis admitted, rolling up his sleeves as he glanced at Niall. He used to be friends with the shy boy, but later changed, because Liam came into his life. Louis was secretly in the closet though, and it was hard to talk with Liam most of the time, because of his view on gay and lesbian people.

“Lou is right,” Zayn said, “but I have a dare for you?” Liam raised his left eyebrow, eyes glued onto the raven haired boy as he spoke.

“I dare you to spend time with Niall until after prom and get to know him more, which means that you'll have to go to prom with him, but you'll receive a lot of gifts in return.” Liam shook his head, crossing his arms as he glanced at Niall, who had his earbuds in, loud enough to where he couldn't hear a single soul in the room.

“What's really in it for me if I do this, Zayn? I don't want to be labeled as gay by everyone, because you know that I'm not.” The tattooed boy sat down next to him, letting out a long sigh before speaking up again.

“Booze, cigarettes, tattoos on me, I'll do your homework for the rest of the year and I'll give you my leather jacket that you've wanted.” Liam smirked, nodding faster than he did before looking over at Niall mischievously. Louis looked over as well, feeling regret pool in his stomach as he had empathy for Niall.

Louis didn't want to see him get hurt, even if he had left the frail boy for Liam, but seeing him being lied to would definitely be worse. Liam shouldn't go through it, in Louis' opinion, but the bad boy seemed certain on doing it.

He went over to Niall after pinky swearing with Zayn, the rest of the boys watching as Louis excused himself to use the bathroom.

Niall didn't notice his crush next to him until Liam had gently pulled the earbud out of his right ear. The Irish boy blushed faintly, turning to Liam along with a small and sweet smile.
