[92] Big Bad Wolf [RQ]

Prompt: Niall is an omega, having a smaller figure than his alpha, Liam. People think it's adorable, and they make their relationship work in their own way.

Niall awoke to a small whimper from his omega friend, Louis Tomlinson. He rubbed his eyes gently as he sat up from his bed, letting a small yawn escape past his thin lips before he went over to his friend. The feathery haired young male always woke up like that, but Niall never questioned it. Louis probably had nightmares.

“Hey, hey Lou, would you like some ice cold water,” Niall had asked his friend after grabbing the always cool washcloth in the nearby mini fridge. His friend nodded, not uttering a word as Niall then left to retrieve some water for him.

It was the weekend, which meant that they had nothing to do for the time being, only having easy jobs to do since their parents paid for the small home that they lived in. The pair lived near their parents, but they rarely saw them, because they were trying to adapt on their own.

Living alone was a big step for the two of them, and they were doing well, until Louis had began waking up with the way he did. Niall got enough sleep, but he felt bad for his omega friend who didn't, wishing that Louis would get the same amount of asleep that he desperately needed.

Living as omegas was tough, after all, especially since they hadn't found their alphas yet who would help them with every little thing, and vice versa. They both needed that aid that would make their lives so much easier than it hardly was. They had the money, yes, but they didn't have the protection that they needed.

Niall went back to his friend with the water and some food, setting the items down in front of him that were on a tray with a small smile. Louis felt a little worse than before, but he knew what the problem was, and he felt a little nervous to tell his friend about it.

“Ni, uhm... I believe I'm going into heat soon, I think we both are, and I'm nervous to see the many alphas out there...” Niall let out a small laugh, patting his friend's knee before standing up from the bed with a smile across his face.

“There's no need to be worried, Lou. We're getting older, and we both know that we need the extra help around here. Especially with the junk food that we continue to eat.” Louis laughed a little that time, resting his head on his pillow as he didn't want to get up. He was still very nervous, and scared to see all the alphas.

But he had a right to be that way when he was escorted through the mall with Niall who was also in his heat, but he could control it a little better, to an extent. Many of the alphas growled, but some just gave side looks, licking their lips at the innocence that walked before them all.

The pair made it into their work area though, getting behind the counter as a male was already waiting there for something. Louis excused himself to use the bathroom in the back, making Niall go the customer who seemed calm, yet had a strong scent.

He was obviously an Alpha when Niall finally got a look at the strong and tall male, hesitantly moving his hands to clean the area that he was taking care of. The taller man seemed intrigued by the nervous employee, a small smirk coming across his face once he leaned on the counter.

“The name's Liam, love. You seem a bit worried about something,” the taller one had inquired, raising his brow as Niall then sighed heavily. He didn't want to deal with anyone's problems or questions that day, but he had to persevere for the money, and for his desperate friend.

“Yes, my friend is going insane in the back, while I'm trying to fend off my urges. Today will surely be peachy, Liam.” His words made the Alpha laugh, tensing up a bit when Liam had reached for his cheek, holding it gently in his warm hand.
