Requested by pennywinkle0112: Tom is best friends with Fred and George, and Y/N is best friends with the golden trio, but Tom and Y/N hate each other. One day, something happens which changes them from enemies to lovers.

I sat in the Gryffindor common room, my legs over Hemione's lap as we sat on the sofa and Ron and Harry sat in front of the crackling fire.

"God, I'm so bored!" I whined as I threw my head back in exacerbation.

"That's because there's nothing to do. Not until the Quidditch game tomorrow." Ron sighed.

"Which I'm not going to anyway." I shrugged as I looked back at my best friends. They all turned to look at me.

"What? Since when do you miss a Quidditch match? It's Gryffindor versus Slytherin too, the biggest game of the season." Harry scoffed.

"She hasn't been to any Gryffindor games since Tom made the team." Hemione stated. My eyes widened and I looked at her.

"Hermione?!" I exclaimed.

"What? It's obvious, I'm not the only one to have noticed. Fred and George have noticed too. As has Tom. He's actually pretty upset about it." she admitted. My eyebrows furrowed, as did Ron's and Harry's as they looked at me.

"Why would he be upset over that? Don't you two hate each other?" Ron scoffed. I sighed and bit my lip.

"Yeah. We do." I mumbled as I started to think. I was best friends with the appropriately named 'Golden Trio' of Hogwarts, Hermione, Ron and Harry. We'd been best friends since the start of Hogwarts and we were now approaching the end of our third year at the famous school. Hermione, Harry and I were also good mates with Ron's siblings, including his older twin brothers, Fred and George. There was only one issue with that, and that was that they came with a very annoying best friend: Tom Holland. For reasons unknown to me, I had just never gotten along with the older boy. I had never had a problem with him until his problem with me that consisted of him making sniping little remarks at me at every chance that he got. He had been making stupid little remarks since we'd met three years ago, and so now I borderline hated him. But deep down, I wished that it wasn't like that. After all, to say that the boy was extremely attractive was an understatement, and he was absolutely lovely to people that he liked. I just wished that I was one of those people.

"So, why would he be upset about you not going to the match then? If you hate each other?" Harry asked.

"Well, I don't know, do I?" I shrugged.

"I do." Hermione mumbled under her breath as her eyes stayed glued to her book that rested on top of my legs. I groaned and looked at her.

"Will you stop with all of that nonsense? If he had a crush on me, don't you think that he'd be a little nicer to me?" I scoffed.

"Stranger things have happened." Harry chuckled. I sighed and rolled my eyes, though my heart leapt slightly in my chest at the idea that maybe he liked me back. It was a long shot, but maybe my best friends were onto something.

The four of us stood in the corridor, my books held into my chest as we waited to go into class. I looked up and sighed internally as I saw Tom, Fred and George heading towards us, all three of them laughing and shoving each other.

"Incoming." I mumbled, making the other three look up at the sight. Tom clocked me, making me gulp harshly as his arrogant smile dissolved into a gentler one as he saw me.

"Hey guys, what's up?" he chuckled as he got to us.

"Not much. Though, we were better before you got here." I nodded with a sarcastic smile.
