You've known Okumura since you were kids, after living in the same neighborhood and going to the same daycare, the friendship just bloomed as time passed
"Woah that's so cool!" You said in amazement as you watched the ball reach Okumura's hand, it was another game in the baseball little league and once again you were watching your friends play
"You were watching (First name)-chan?" Taku asked when their game in the little league ended
"Yeah, I am!" You grinned and pointed at yourself, "Hey hey, Koshuu-chan, I'm starting on the softball team next week!" You announced and looked at him with big eyes
"We can now play all together! Takucchi would be the fielder then you would be the catcher and I'll be the pitcher!"
"That's great (Nickname)-chan!" Taku high-fived you while Koshuu smiled
"Then do you know how to pitch?" Okumura asked
"Well..." You trailed off with a nervous laugh, "I'll learn and I'll do it fast!" You reassured them, "Then Koshuu would catch for me!" You grinned and pointed at him
"Okay, then good luck with your team." He nodded as the three of you finally started to walk home

"She's actually starting already!" Okumura said in surprise as Taku nodded, just as baffled as his friend
"(Nickname)-chan's been working hard so that must be it!" Taku said as he took a bite from his bread
"There she is!" Taku exclaimed and pointed at you, you turned your head towards them and waved animatedly on the mound
"Koshuu-chan! Takucchi you guys see my powers!" You giggled as the two of them showed you a thumbs up

"So so what did you think?" You asked them as the three of you walked home together
"You were so cool (Nickname)-chan!" Taku praised, "Right Koshuu?"
"Yeah..." Koshuu nodded, avoiding we contact, "You're really really amazing." He added shyly as you giggled
"Thanks, Koshuu-chan!" You looped your arms with them, "To celebrate, let's go get ice cream!"
Okumura followed you, not knowing if he should feel glad that you didn't catch on what he was trying to say
'It's okay...I just like her a little bit!' He reassured himself

"Koshuu-chan, Takucchi!" You yell after them as you three enter Seido
"Jeez, it's lonely now that we can't walk to school together." You pout once you reach them
"You're only saying that cause there's nobody to wake you up in the morning anymore," Okumura says as he gives you a side glance, noticing the little pout at what he said
"Jeez, that's not my fault!" You whine, "Besides, training has been tiring these days." You mutter, stretching your shoulders
"Oh that's right, you've been staying later than usual haven't you?" Taku asks
