Also, Mei might seem a bit different, or OOC but I just really see him as someone who doesn't know what to do when he likes a girl whose personality is the opposite of his,

"Mei...are you okay?" Carlos asks Narumiya who jumps in surprise
Carlos didn't know why, but seeing Narumiya hiding behind a wall and looking like he was waiting for someone, made him curious about what was happening
"Me? Of course, I am! Why wouldn't I be?!" He asks loudly, catching the attention of some girls who were walking towards the entrance of the school, who giggles at Narumiya
Carlos sighs, the coach was going to kill them.... not literally maybe just add a number to their normal regime but still, it will get them in trouble
"Come on Mei, we'll be late," Carlos calls Narumiya who ignores him and instead continues to focus on someone
Carlos followed Narumiya's line of vision and saw a girl carrying a stack of books walking towards the entrance
"(First name)-chan!" Narumiya calls out merrily, catching you off guard and almost making you drop the books
"Narumiya, please don't do that." You sigh, but Narumiya didn't listen and instead smiles at you
"Do you need help with that? I can carry all those easily because of my training!" Narumiya boasts and at the sidelines Carlos facepalms
"I think it's better if you use that strength of yours at training, Narumiya." You reply before continuing to walk, completely ignoring Narumiya's offer
It wasn't that you hate Narumiya, of course not! Maybe just found his arrogance a bit annoying and how he always tries to look big to you, but overall you admire his passion for baseball and how hard he tries for the sport
Carlos looks at Narumiya who looks dejected at the rejection
'So this is the girl!' Carlos remembers that there were some whispers about a certain female giving Narumiya a hard time
"Come on, let's go to training!" Narumiya announces back to his usual self but Carlos shakes his head
"You're going to confess to her," Carlos says, "we're already late and another few minutes won't do any harm,"
'Other than getting scolded by the coach!' They both thought, shivering at the thought but neither said anything
"She doesn't like me," Narumiya mutters, Carlos chuckles at the whole thing, he knew he shouldn't but he just found it amusing that someone actually managed to catch Narumiya's attention, who isn't a baseball player, that is. Even making the proud ace this whipped
"What's so funny?!" Narumiya asks, huffing at Carlos
"Just go!" He pushes Narumiya, in your direction
"But she doesn't like me! I've already tried to ask her out multiple times but she keeps on ignoring me!"
"Then try being honest with her, instead of boasting," Carlos suggests, "From what I saw earlier, you were just talking big about yourself."
"Will that work?"
"Yeah....maybe." Carlos nods as Narumiya thought about it
"Just do it." Carlos sighs
"If anything bad happens it's on you!" Narumiya says but he still runs after you
"(First name)-chan!" You hear Narumiya call out
"Narumiya-kun, do you need anything?" You sigh
"Go out with me," He blurts out as you blink
"What?"
"I-I like you!" He confesses while you gape at him
"What?" You ask him, looking at his extremely red face, you couldn't help but turn red yourself because of his little announcement
"Will you go out with me?" He asks bowing, "Please!" He continues, catching you off guard
'So he can act like this!' You scream inside your head before looking at him
'Well... if he knows how to act like this... I guess it won't be too bad..... probably,' You finally decide
"Well...." You trail off as Narumiya straightens his posture and watches you with anticipation
"I guess, I wouldn't mind." You say slowly
Upon hearing your words, Narumiya's eyes shines as a smile breaks on his face
"Really?"
"Yes," You answer, "Narumiya, shouldn't you be at training?" You ask him skeptically
"Will you come?" He ask
"Do I need to?" You cock your head to the side in confusion, "Narumiya, you already have a whole group of girls cheering for you," You point out
"But they aren't (First name)-chan." He mutters, looking away from you
"That still doesn't mean I need to,"
"(First name)-chan! Please!" He pulls your arm
"But—!"
"Come on!"
"Fine," You sigh, "Let go of my arm and I'll go with you there." You agree and instantly, Narumiya lets go and waits for you
Walking beside you, Narumiya smiles happily to himself, finally getting his crush to say yes to him
