"Eat that you idiot!" You stick your tongue out at Kuramochi who groans, hating the way defeat feels for him
"That was just luck!"
"Luck my ass," You snort before falling over your bed, eyes staring up the ceiling as you reach for a bag of chips on your bedside table
"Did you do your assignment?" He asks you while you groan, it wasn't like you intentionally forgot to do your homework, but there was an event going on with one game you were playing, and it was your favorite character's card! Then after a long hour of grinding to reach the top spot, you were extremely tired so you had to rest and watch a bunch of movies and eat!
"Be my source?" You look at him while he rolls his eyes
"Do you think I'll ask you if I have anything?" He asks, flicking your forehead and making you groan
"Don't do that," You mumble
"Do you know anybody who could help us?" He asks, ignoring your previous statement
You stare at him blankly, as if asking him if he was an idiot without the use of any words
"Do you think I know anybody?" You return the question as he winces
"Forgot you're a hermit." He teases you while you stick your tongue out at him
"Well, let's just ask Kawakami tomorrow," He says at ease while you feel your stomach churn, hopefully, he means that he would do the talking and not you, because you didn't want to know how you, the literal embodiment of awkwardness, could make everything in the room so stuffy

"You said you were going to ask him," You frown at him as you stared at the door of 2-A as if it was some kind of boss level
"I said, we were going to ask him." He emphasized the 'we' while you wince
"Be a friend and—"
"No," He says sternly, "You need to start getting to know the team your father and great and amazing friend—" He says pointing to himself, "-is playing with," He pushes you towards the entrance and you could feel the nerves starting to build up as people start to stare
"Hey Kawakami," He greets the pitcher who smiles back at him
"Greet him too," He whispers as he steps on your foot
