Anyways, I rewatched episode 50 (?) for this and I was reminded of how much I love the third years alsjdhdka

The third years wait in anticipation, almost forgetting Azuma who was also there with them
"Everyone!" They hear your voice
The first years and second years watch as the third years' imaginary ears spike up as their tails start waving at the sound of your voice
"(First name)-senpai!" Isashiki calls out brightly as you wave back at him, jogging down the stone path and going straight to the field
"Senpai." Yuki bows, "It's great having you here."
"Hey, Tetsu, still as stoic as before huh?" You chuckle and pat his head, causing the captain to emit a bright aura all around him
"Where're my other kohais?" You ask, looking around you just in time to see a hoard of men running toward you
"Senpai you're here!"
"You could've told us you were already here so we could pick you up!"
"It's nothing, besides you're going against Inashiro next, right?" You cross your arms and raise your eyebrows at them, "Shouldn't you be on the field?"
"We're on our break, senpai!"
"Then will you cook for us, senpai?" Masuko asks as you chuckle
"If the managers allow me, then I guess I wouldn't mind spoiling my favorite juniors."
Everybody beams at what you said
"Uwa I'm going blind!" Sawamura yells out, blocking his eyes
"They're still quite attached to her, huh?" Rei says as the others look at her in curiosity

"Welcome to the club, Takako-chan." You smile at Takako who smiles at you shyly, "(First name)-senpai, Are we heading to the field?" The second year managers asks as you nod
"We'll be meeting new faces soon, we should be ready." You say as you follow the others outside

You stare at the group of first years that were aligned, some were visibly nervous while others seemed to be able to keep a cool head
You couldn't help but chuckle at some of them, especially those who were giving too much information than what the captain was asking for

"Got it." You say as you stop the jug from falling, "You okay, Takako-chan?" You turn to your junior who nods at you
"Thank you, senpai!"
"It's nothing." You shake your head, "If you need anything just make sure to call me, okay?" You call after her and she nods before thanking you again
It's been two weeks since the team welcomed its new members, you haven't had the chance to talk to most of them but from what it looked like, they were good kids
"This is the future of Seidou?"
"We have no chance at all...." You overhear a bunch of alumni talking, frowning you follow their gazes and watch the first years practice, Sure they were still a bit sloppy and rough but they were just first years, nobody's great from the beginning
