~Chapter 73~

Danny's pov:

I woke up with Am lying on top of me, her head tickling my naked skin. It's been almost two weeks since our wedding but it feels like it was yesterday. We're both back in London cause Am has to go to work again today.

I turn my head slightly to see that it's 8.30 AM. Still half an hour until Am has to get up. I wrap my arms around her and press her tighter against me, inhaling the scent of her hair. I slipped my hand carefully underneath her shirt and ran my hand slowly up and down her bare back. Hoping I wouldn't wake her up.

Twenty minutes later I feel her smiling into my chest before she mumbles,

"Good morning."

"Morning gorgeous." I replied, giving a light kiss on the top of her head. 

"How late is it?" She asked, her head still resting on my chest.

"You have to get up in ten minutes." I replied, tickling her side lightly causing her to giggle slightly. We lay in comfortable silence for ten minutes until Am's alarm went off. Groaning, she rolled off me and reached over to her bedside table where her phone was lying so she could turn her alarm off. 

"I don't want you to go." I said, rolling over to her side of the bed and wrapped my arms around her again, pressing her against my chest. 

"I don't want to go either, but I have to work Dan. And I don't have a long day, I'll be home a little after five." She replied, pressing a kiss against my neck before she started to untangle herself from my arms.

"That's still too long." I said pouting.

"Sorry." She said and kissed my lips lightly before she got out of bed and disappeared to the bathroom.  I pulled the duvet up to my shoulders and made myself comfortable again, listening to the shower running in the bathroom. Twenty minutes later I heard the bathroom door open and close and heard Am walk downstairs, probably to have breakfast. I waited for a little longer until I got out of bed as well. I walked down the stairs and found Am in the hall putting her shoes on to go. 

"I'm going." She stated when she saw me. 

"Okay, good luck babe." I said hugging her. When she pulled away I kissed her before I opened the door to have her goodbye.

"See you later!" She said before stepping in her car. Once she drove off I closed the door and walked to the kitchen to make myself some tea. I sat down on the couch with my tea and opened my laptop. I had promised Am a dog a while ago, and well, I thought it would be a cute christmas gift. Well actually, I didn't promise it, I said it as a joke. But I've thought about it a few days ago and thought that it would be nice for Am when I'm on tour. So she isn't too lonely. 

I decided on a blonde labrador pup for Am, cause I know she loves those. So after some googling I had found someone with several pups and I'm going to pick one up today with Mark. After I had found the address on google I typed it in my phone so I wouldn't forget and closed my laptop again. I finished my tea and went upstairs to have a shower.

I'm really looking forward to the look on Am's face when I'll give her her dog, cause she loves dog. At first I wanted to give her a dog on christmas eve as present, but seeing as we're celebrating christmas at my mum's I thought it would be better if I'd just do it here at home. Even though we'll probably have to take the dog with us to my mum.

Half an hour later I was waiting downstairs for Mark to pick me up. But not too long later I heard the doorbell ring so I quickly stood up from the couch and ran to the door to open it. 

"Hey man!" Mark said hugging me and patting my back.

"Hey." I replied, grabbing my coat and put it on before I locked the door behind me and stepped in the car next to Mark.
