Danny's pov:

I woke up with Am cuddled up to me. Her head was resting on my chest while her fingers were drawing patterns on my stomach. I kept my eyes closed for a little while longer, just enjoying this moment until I decided to let Am know that I was awake by kissing the top of her head.

"Good morning." She said, looking up at me.

"Morning babe." I replied, wrapping my arms around her and holding her tight.

"Slept well?" She asked, running her fingers over the stubble on my cheek.

"Yeah, you?" I replied, placing my hand on her bump. Since Am's now nine months pregnant, it won't take long anymore until she'll go into labour. I really can't wait to meet our girl finally after waiting for nine months.

"Alright." She said, placing her hand on top of mine and intertwining our fingers. We lay like that for a while in comfortable silence, until my stomach made a grumbling noise, breaking the silence.

"Shall we make breakfast then?" Am said chuckling.

"Sounds great." I replied, propping myself up on one elbow. I leaned down and kissed Am softly on her lips before I got out of bed and helped her out.

"I'll make breakfast, can you get Ava?" Am asked walking downstairs.

"Of course." I replied opening the door to Ava's bedroom where I found her sitting on the carpet playing with her toys.

"Good morning sunshine." I said kneeling down beside her.

"Morning daddy!" She replied happily.

"Shall we go downstairs for breakfast?" I asked her. She nodded in reply and took a few toys before she made her way downstairs with me following behind. She sat down in front of the couch where she continued playing while I made my way to Am in the kitchen.

When I walked in she was leaning slightly forwards with one hand rubbing her bump and holding onto the kitchen counter with the other hand.

"Are you okay?" I asked slightly worried.

"Yeah, yeah. I think it won't be too long until we'll meet our girl." She replied flashing me a quick smile and stood up straight again.

"Seriously? Do we need to go to the hospital?" I asked not really sure what to do.

"No, I just had a pain, it might as well take another day before I'll really go into labour. Don't worry." She replied, trying to reassure me.

"Is there anything I can do for you?" I asked, cupping her face in my hands.

"Stop worrying." She replied and pecked my lips before she continued making breakfast like nothing happened. I on the other hand, couldn't shake it that easy, I mean, Am will go into labour soon which means we'll finally be able to hold our baby in our arms and I'm just a little bit nervous. But Am seemed totally calm which reassured me a little bit.

After breakfast I went to have a walk with Lola and took Ava with me. After I made Am promise she'd call me if something happens, I helped Ava into her shoes and coat before I put my own on. I attached the lead to Lola's collar and took Ava's little hand in my other hand.

Once we were walking through the park Ava suddenly ran off towards the playground. I quickly followed her not wanting her to run through the park on her own. I sat down on a bench while I watched Ava going off the slide. And again, and again, again. I swear that girl never gets tired of the slide.

But to my surprise, after like the thousandth time, she made her way to the swing.

"Daddy push!" She shouted while trying to climb on.
