~Chapter 127~

Amy's pov:

The lads are about to release their fifth album soon now. But before they're releasing it they're going on a small tour, starting in Dublin. The lads flew out today and I'm following them tomorrow with both Ava and Liz to watch their gig. Well, I'm not taking Ava and Liz to the gig with me cause Dan's mum offered to look after them, but I'm taking them with me to Ireland.

Dan got picked up to go to the airport a few hours ago, and I made him promise he'd send a text when they land.

I made my way upstairs and took the empty suitcase out of the closet before laying it down on the bed and opening it. I started with packing my own clothes before I made my way to Ava and Liz's bedroom to pack their stuff. Around an hour later, I had everything packed and went over my mental checklist to make sure I didn't forget anything. 

Once I was convinced that I had everything I closed the suitcase and carried it downstairs placing it in the hall next to the front door.

After I'd brought the kids to bed that night, I sat watching TV for a while longer until I decided to go to bed as well to have an early night. Once I was ready for bed I lay down and grabbed my phone to send Dan a text,

'Going to sleep now, good night, love you❤️'

A few seconds after I'd pressed send, my phone started ringing. I picked it up to see it was Dan who was calling.

"Hey." I said smiling when I picked up.

"Hey babe, I thought I'd say you goodnight instead of texting it." He replied.

"It's still quite early, though." He added before I could answer.

"I know, but since I having an early start tomorrow I thought I might as well have an early night." I replied.

"I'm looking forward to seeing you tomorrow."

"Me too, I can't wait to see you perform again."

"I can't wait to perform either, we went to see the venue today, it's going to be amazing!" He replied excitedly. 

"I hope it is, I've got high expectations." I said teasing him.

"We won't disappoint, I promise." He replied chuckling.

"Mark and Glen never disappoint, but you... I'll have to see that for myself first..." I said, continuing to tease him.

"I'll give you a run for your money babe." He replied and I could imagine him smirking.

"We'll see."

"Instead of keeping you up you should go to sleep now." He said, and like as if on cue, I started yawning. 

"Yeah, see you tomorrow." I replied.

"I love you babe." 

"I love you too." I replied before hanging up. 

I put my phone down and got comfortable before falling into a peaceful sleep.

I sighed in relief once we were sitting in our seats on the plane. It was extremely busy at the airport and Ava refused to just stay with me in the line for the security. Thank god I convinced her to hold onto my hand until we got through security and I bought her a hot chocolate to keep her occupied for a while. 

Ava was sitting next to the window, her face pressed against it looking outside in amazement. 

"Are we flying already mummy?" She asked after a few moments.
