Amy's pov:

I woke up with the space next to me empty. But it didn't take long until I heard the shower running in the bathroom, so that's probably where Dan's gone to. I picked my phone up and saw that it was already 10AM, which meant that Dan must be up for a while already and took care of Ava, because she doesn't sleep this long.

When I unlocked my phone I saw that I had a lot of twitter notifications so I opened the app to see what was going on. Soon enough I realized that they were all sending us the same link, tagging me, the script and Danny in it. I clicked on the link and after a few seconds an article of Dan and Ava came up. Well, that was expected right? I clicked on 'accept cookies' and started reading what they had written,

'Daddy O'Donoghue out with daughter'

The Script's frontman, Danny O'Donoghue, was seen 'for the first time' with his daughter, Ava O'Donoghue. The hall of fame singer, who's married to Amy O'Donoghue, became a dad a few months ago. But other than tweeting out their daughters name, the couple stayed quiet about their first child. Until yesterday, when Danny was spotted feeding Ava in the park. Danny, Amy, congratulations with your first child.

There were also a few pictures added to the article. In one Dan was sitting on a bench feeding her, and on the other he was holding her to his chest. The second photo was made from behind so you could clearly see Ava's face in it because she was looking straight in the camera. I looked a the photos for a little longer and couldn't help but smile at myself at how cute Dan was with Ava. I've got to admit, when Dan told me yesterday that there was a chance that they were spotted by paparazzi, I wasn't too happy about it. But now that I see the article I don't really mind. It's not like there's some exclusive information in it, only a photo of her, which would happen one day anyway. I locked my phone again and put in a back down on my bedside table. When I rolled back onto my back, the door opened and Dan came walking in, with a towel wrapped around his waist.

"Morning beautiful." He said smiling when he saw that I was awake. I didn't reply to that because I was too busy checking him out. Even after all these years, and after seeing him naked so many times, I still can't get over how hot he is and how good he looks. He isn't overly muscled like you see in some tv shows or magazines or something. He's got strong arms, but nothing too over the top, his abs are pressing lightly through his skin, his V lines that disappear into the towel, and strong muscles on his back. The overall view was just perfect.

"Sorry what?" I said when he realized that he had said something but I had no idea of what he had said.

"I asked, how did you sleep?" He repeated chuckling, realizing that I was focusing on something else.

"Ooh, fine. You?" I replied.

"Amazing." He said walking over to me and kissed me on my lips. I breathed in the sexy scent of his aftershave before I let go of him. He stood up again and walked over to the wardrobe to get some clothes out. I watched how he threw his towel to the side and how he put his boxers on before I got out of bed as well. I picked some clothes and took them with me to the bathroom to have a shower.

After I had a shower and was dressed again, I made my way downstairs. I found the table laid and breakfast ready which made me smile. Dan was in the living room playing with Ava, he was lying on his back on the couch while he held Ava in his stretched arms above his head, making airplane sounds. I watched how Ava was giggling while while Dan held her up, making me smile as well.

"There's mummy!" Dan said when he noticed me looking at them.

"I made us breakfast." He said sitting up.

"I noticed." I replied smiling. Dan left Ava to play on her own for a while, while we sat down at the table to have breakfast.

"Am?" Dan started after a few minutes of small talk.

"Yeah?" I replied, looking up at him.

"I told you yesterday that there was a chance that I was spotted by paps with Ava, and I found several articles today about us..." He said carefully.

"I know, I saw links on twitter and clicked on one." I replied, taking a sip of my tea.

"So you're not mad?" He asked, looking up at me.

"Of course not, it was going to happen anyway. And they didn't say any weird things about her." I replied, squeezing his hand lightly.

"I love you Am." He said squeezing my hand as well.

"I love you too."

"Now that we failed keeping Ava private for any longer, can I tweet out a picture of her?" He asked cheekily.

"Of course, if that's what you want." I replied chuckling. After we finished breakfast I cleared everything away and tidied the kitchen while Dan went back to Ava.

"Am?" Dan called after a while from the living room, while I was still in the kitchen.

"Dan?" I replied, putting our plates in the dishwasher.

"Why have we never gone swimming with Ava?" He asked.

"I don't know, never thought of it, and it's not like we've had many chances to do that since we're both busy." I replied, chuckling at his random question.

"Shall we go swimming today, then?" He asked excitedly, coming into the kitchen.

"Okay." I replied simply, closing the dishwasher. Before I could do anything else Dan had already ran upstairs to get everything ready. I laughed at his excitement and followed him upstairs to help him.

Once we had everything we though we might need we got in the car and made our way to the closest pool. As soon as we arrived Dan jumped out of the car and lifted Ava out of her carseat and threw the bag over his shoulder. I locked the car and walked to the entrance where Dan was waiting for me.

After I changed into my bikini I went to find Dan who was already changed and was holding Ava on his hip.

"Ready?" He asked when I walked towards him.

"Yup." I replied, wrapping the towel around my body because I felt slightly uneasy in my bikini cause I didn't have the time yet to work all the baby weight off.

"You're beautiful." Dan said and stopped walking to look me in my eyes, noticing that I felt uncomfortable.

"I'm serious Amy." He said, putting his finger underneath my chin, forcing me to look at me. When I looked up at him he leaned down and pressed his lips softly against mine. I smiled at him when he pulled away which made him smile as well.

"That's better." He said before placing another kiss my lips.

We chose a pool where more parents were with babies and got in. The water was nice and warm and made me relax instantly. A few seconds later I was joined by Dan, who was making sure Ava's head stayed above the surface.

"I think she likes it." Dan said chuckling after a while. I looked down at Ava who was lying in Dan's arms, almost asleep.

"It looks like it." I said smiling proudly at my daughter.

After a while we decided to go home again so we got out of the pool again. Dan took Ava with him to his changing room because he's quicker with changing himself so he wouldn't have to wait too long. I rubbed my towel over my head to dry my hair a little bit before I dried my body and got dressed. When I was dressed I got out of the changing room but saw that Dan wasn't ready yet so I walked over to a mirror and brushed my hair before putting it in a messy bun. When I was done Dan came out of the changing room as well with Ava on his hip. He had dressed her in an adorable Stitch outfit Jess had gotten us a few weeks ago. He handed Ava over to me while he quickly did his own hair before we made our way to the car.

"I really enjoyed this." Dan said once we were on our way home.

"Me too." I said smiling and placed my hand on his thigh. He placed his hand on top of mine and intertwined our fingers.
