Amy's pov:

We were driving back home from celebrating christmas at Dan's mum with his siblings. We'd just landed on Heathrow and were now on our way back home. Dan was still not feeling well, even though he'd tried to convince his mum that he was okay, you didn't need to be a genius to see that he wasn't.  He had barely eaten from all the delicious food his mum had made, and the things that he had eaten came out again later that night when we were lying in bed. Thank god he made it to the toilet in time.

I looked over at Dan who was sitting next to me, his head leaning against the window and almost asleep. Lola was curled up on his lap and was asleep, snoring lightly. I placed my hand on his thigh before focusing back on the road. I saw Dan opening one eye out of the corner of my eye when I placed my hand on his thigh but other than that he didn't really react to it.

Once we'd arrived back home I turned the engine off and stepped out. I thought that Dan had fallen asleep so I decided to get our suitcases inside first before I'd wake Dan. But just when I wanted to take the first suitcase out of the car Dan stopped me by saying,

"Let me do it, you shouldn't carry heavy things."

So I stepped away and let Dan do it while I unlocked the front door and walked in, followed by Lola who had woken up as well. Seconds later Dan walked in with our suitcases and went straight upstairs to bring them to our bedroom. I made my way to the kitchen to make us tea while Lola had run of to the couch.

A few minutes later Dan came back downstairs changed into his tracksuit and an oversized t-shirt. Well, his shirt wasn't meant to be oversized but since he'd lost so much weight over the last days his shirt looked oversized. It really worried me that he didn't start to feel better and kept losing weight, but every time I tried to tell him that maybe he should go to see a doctor he'd say that he'd be fine in a few days. And with that he'd end our discussion.

"I'll be fine, don't worry." He said when he noticed that I was worrying again.  I nodded slowly in reply, not fully convinced. I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his waist, resting my head against his chest. I felt him wrap his arms around me as well, and I stood there in his embrace enjoying this moment.

"Promise me you'll go to a doctor if you're not feeling better in a few days?" I asked, pulling away slightly so I could look at him.

"But there's probably nothing wrong, I've only had some heavy headaches and feel sick every now and then, it happens to everybody sometimes." He said shrugging.

"No! It's not just a headache, you've been having a headache non-stop! You've lost so much weight there's almost nothing left of you because you can't keep the smalles things down! You couldn't even stand on your own for two flipping seconds a few days ago because you almost fainted!!" I said, trying to fight the tears that were treating to fall from my eyes. Danny just stood there for a few seconds looking at me, not knowing what to do or say after my little outburst.

"But I can stand on my own now, so that means I'm feeling better, isn't it?" He said after a few moments.

"Danny!!" I shouted when he tried to convince me again that he was okay.

"Okay, okay. I'll go to see a doctor in a won't feel better in a few days." He said, finally giving in but making it clear that he'd only see one if he wouldn't feel better 'in a few days.'  I nodded slowly in reply, and wrapped my arms around him once again.

"I don't want you to worry about me." He whispered, hugging me tight to his chest and kissed the top of my head.

"I can't help it." I replied, burying my head in his chest to hide the tears that had escaped from my eyes. He obviously felt my tears wetting his shirt so he wrapped his arms around me even tighter and rested his head on top of mine.

"Just don't worry too much." He said, his head still on top of mine.

"I'll try." I said sniffing lightly.

We spent the rest of the day hanging on the couch watching tv. The only times I got up from the couch were to go to the toilet and to have a walk with Lola. But she didn't feel like walking either cause we'd barely reached the end of the street when she suddenly lay down on the pavement, refusing to walk any further. So instead of walking to the park with her, we had a short walk and as soon as we arrived back home she ran into the living room and jumped on Dan's lap who was still sitting on the couch. I kicked my shoes off before I went to the kitchen to make us dinner. I made us soup because I didn't really feel like cooking and I hoped that Dan would be able to keep that down.

A little while later we were sitting opposite each other at the table eating our soup. I could see that Dan was struggling to eat but he decided not to say something about it, probably scared for another outburst. Which is good I guess cause he's eating now.

After some more hours of watching tv we decided to go to bed. Dan turned the tv off while I brought our mugs to the kitchen before I followed Dan upstairs. When I was brushing my teeth Dan was stripping down to his boxers, I looked at him in the mirror. You could easily count his ribs now, but I decided not to say anything about it, I think I made it clear earlier today. If I could I would push several big macs down his throat, but he probably won't keep that down, so it won't have an effect either... He kissed me on my cheek before he left the bathroom. I went to the toilet first before I went to our bedroom. I took my clothes off to change into my pyjamas, or another t-shirt, whatever you call it... I unclasped my bra with my back to Dan but I noticed him looking at me in the mirror. Suddenly he sat upright in bed, and before I could ask him what was going on he said smiling,

"You're starting to show of!!"

I looked down at myself and realized that he was right, a small bump was starting to appear. Dan jumped out of bed and walked over to me, wrapping his arms around me from behind and placing his hands on my stomach.

"I'm so happy." He said to no-one in particular. We stood like that for a little while until I was getting cold so I walked over to our bed to get in. I picked my shirt up from of the floor but was stopped when Dan said pouting,

"No please."

I gave in and dropped my shirt to the floor again before I joined Dan in bed. He immediately shuffled over to me and placed his hand on my bump.

"I can't wait to meet him or her." He whispered looking into my eyes.

"Me neither." I replied, leaning over to kiss him on his soft lips.
