Danny's pov:
I was standing in front of the mirror, doing my hair. Once I was satisfied I stepped back and looked at myself in the mirror, I was wearing my suit, my hair gelled in its quiff and I had shaved my three day stubble. Yup, you got that right, today's the big day. We're getting married! To say that I'm nervous in an understatement. Even though I know that everything's sorted out and there's almost nothing that could go wrong, I can't help but worry.
The moment I told Am that I had planned our wedding and everything was ready she went absolutely crazy- in a good way, thank god. I smiled at myself at the memory,
"Why?" Am asked confused. I just told her to pack her suitcase cause we're going. She still had no clue why we are going and where we are going.
"Because... I'll tell you later." I replied, not being able to think of an excuse.
"Okay...?" Am said, her eyebrows raised before she turned around and disappeared upstairs. I closed the door behind her and quickly prepared the things I had made. I've spent the whole day in the kitchen while Am was working preparing our dinner. I quickly set the table and got the food out of the oven placing it on the table. I quickly tidied the living room a little bit before lighting candles, closing the curtains and dimming the lights.
Half an hour later I heard Am walk down the stairs again so I quickly ran to the hall and stood waiting for her at the bottom of the stairs.
"The suitcase is still in the bedroom." She said once she saw me.
"That's okay." I replied and took her hand.
"Dan, what's going on?" She asked, obviously noticing that I was nervous, but excited at the same time.
"Just come, I'll tell you." I said and guided her to the table where I sat her down.
"Hmm this smells amazing." She said smiling, looking at the food I had made.
"I tried my best." I said grinning. I got an white envelope from the kitchen counter and handed it to Am before I sat down opposite her.
"What's this?" She asked puzzled, staring at the envelope in her hands.
"Just open it." I replied. Am looked at me for a few seconds longer until she looked back at the envelope in her hands and opened it, revealing photos from what our wedding will be like. Photos from things like the church, cake, dresses for her bridesmaids, flowers, etc...
"What's THI- OUR WEDDING!!!" She suddenly shouted when she realized what it was.
"Yup, everything's planned. The only thing you have to do it get on a plane and put your dress on. And say yes of course." I said smiling.
"I can't believe you did this! That's why I had to go and try on dressed with Jess!" She squealed.
"I love you so much Dan." She said standing up and walked around the table to me and sat down on my lap.
"I love you too." I replied, wrapping my arms around her and pressing my lips against hers.
"Dan?" Mark asked, bringing me back to reality.
"Yeah?" I replied, turning my attention to him.
"Are you ready? Everyone's here and Am will come any minute." Mark said.
"Y-yeah, I'm coming." I said looking in the mirror one last time to make sure I looked alright.
"You're gonna be fine." Mark said patting me on my back. I flashed him a quick smile in reply before we made our way inside the church. It was a beautiful day, even though it was cold the sun was shining, and it was dry. Before I walked inside I took a quick glance at the sky, if you could see me now.
