Warning for panic attacks. In this oneshot, Virgil is trans so if you do not like that don't read it.

Virgil stared at his binder, contemplating. He had just gotten out of the shower, and because of this he knew the binder would most likely get stuck as he tried to slip it on. He wondered if it was really worth trying, and risking getting stuck. Another minute passed and he sighed, taking a hold of it. If he didn't wear it he knew he would worry about his appearance all day. Not that he didn't already, but knowing that his chest was obviously not flat only made things worse on him.

He slowly pulled it over his head, which was the easiest part. The binder stayed on his shoulders for a moment as he paused, drawing in a deep breath. He began to pull it on, struggling to pull it on properly. He managed to get it far enough down to cover one part of his chest, quickly pulling it up again as it put pressure on him and hurt. He started tugging on it harder, desperately trying to get it on already. He didn't realize he wasn't breathing until he started feeling light headed, noticing he had already begun to panic.

He became more and more desperate to finally be free of his binder, feeling like it was suffocating him. He felt a few tears slide down his cheeks, not able to keep himself from panicking any longer, letting out a loud sob. He tried to get it off of him instead of pulling it on, but it was still just as hard, the material clinging to his skin. He sank to the floor, giving up on trying to get it off of him and instead trying to focus on getting his breathing under control. He didn't know he was being too loud as he cried, jumping when their was a knock on the door.

"Virgil? Are you okay? What's wrong, dear?" Roman called through the door, concern clear in his voice, and Virgil silently thanked every god out there. Unable to answer with words he opened up the door. Roman rushed inside, seeing him sitting on the floor of the bathroom with his binder halfway on.

He understood what had happened immediately, rushing to his side and taking his hand. "Hey, Virgil, breathe okay? You're okay. I'll help you get it off, if you want?"

He looked at Virgil, who nodded quickly. Roman wasted no more time in lifting it over Virgil's head. It was difficult, but he managed to get it off of him. Virgil finally felt like he wasn't suffocating anymore, and took in huge gulps of air. Roman held him close, being sure not to hold him too tightly so he wouldn't panic again. Virgil slumped against him after a while, obviously exhausted.

"Do you want to go lay down? I'll help you get the rest of your clothes on, and carry you to your bed. Is that okay?" He checked, not wanting to make the anxious side feel worse. After receiving a nod he picked up the others shirt, sliding it on over his head. "Do you want your hoodie too?" Getting another nod he picked that up as well, slipping it on over his arms.

He scooped the other up in his arms, carrying his carefully over to his bed and setting him down. Kissing the top of Virgil's (Virgil just corrected to virgin omfg) forehead, Roman sat with him. He whispered comforting words into his ear until he calmed completely.

"Thank you," Virgil mumbled, not looking up at Roman. Roman smiled at him.

"It's no problem, dear." He assured, kissing his cheek. Then, he frowned, worrying. "You're not going to try and put your binder on again, are you? I don't want you to feel bad again. I think you should just go without it today."

"But-" Virgil tried to argue, but was cut off by lips pressed against his.

"No buts." Roman chastised, his gaze softening after a moment. "Virgil, I promise you. You are just as stunningly handsome without it as you are with it. Not having it on doesn't make you less of a man." Virgil chewed on his lip, thinking for a moment before he sighed.

"Fine. I won't put it on today." He agreed. "Thank you again, Roman. For making me feel better." He pulled his boyfriend down by his sash into another kiss, Roman pulling Virgil close as he returned it. It was a while before the two of them pulled apart.

"Like I said, it's no problem Virge." He reassured, pressing another short kiss to his lips. "I love you. I'll always be here for you."

"I love you too, Roman."

I got the idea for this oneshot when I got stuck in my own "binder" (it's just a tight sports bra) and nearly had a panic attack (which happens every time I try to put it on after showering). Does... does this actually happen to anyone else or am I just crazy?

Unfortunately when this happened to me I didn't have a handsome boyfriend to come in and save me, but oh well. I survived it.

Anyways, I need to get to work on more chapters of Robot, so I'll be off to do that now. Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed this. *JD brings a bomb to your school and it explodes into ring pops*
