Valentine's Day (Anxiety x Logic)

I'm going to attempt to find a different idea for every ship for Valentine's Day, Sorry in advance if I fail lol. They're also all probably gonna be titled Valentine's Day, bc I'm not creative lmao. They're all going to be human AUs.

Valentine's Day. It was a bit of a pointless holiday, nothing more than a way to get people to buy things they don't need. Which is what most holidays were, really.

Still, it was Virgil and Logan's first Valentine's Day since they started dating, so Virgil thought they should celebrate. Even if he didn't want to he didn't know Logan's ideas on the day, so he would at least try to make his boyfriend happy. He was also aware that Logan was not the most romantic, and while he wasn't either he knew that anything that was romantic would most likely be left up to him.

He didn't mind, really. That was, until he got stuck trying to think of ideas to surprise Logan with. What did people normally do on Valentine's Day? It took a long time, but eventually he had an idea that he decided would work. After a fast trip to the store, Virgil set up everything in Logan's apartment and waited for Logan to get back from work. It wasn't too much later when Virgil heard the door opening. Drawing in a nervous breath he picked up some of the things he bought for Logan, moving to stand by the door and smiling as it opened.

Logan was definitely surprised by the state of his living room when he opened the door. He knew it was Valentine's Day, of course, but he didn't think Virgil would do much for the holiday. Apparently that was not the case, proved by the gifts he held in his hands and the few balloons weighed down on the floor.

"Happy Valentine's Day, Logan." Virgil smiled, and Logan smiled back at him, eyes looking over the balloons and laughing at the words on them. "You're kinda okay sometimes," and "sometimes I don't want to vomit when I see you," were not the most romantic lines, but they were definitely something Virgil would say and that made them perfect.

"Happy Valentine's Day, Virgil. What made you want to do all of this?" Logan asked, looking back at Virgil who shrugged.

"I dunno. Just seemed like I should. Do you like it..?" He asked hesitantly, and Logan nodded immediately.

"I love it. It's amazing, although... it makes me feel bad for not getting you more. I bought chocolates and flowers for you, I planned on inviting you over for dinner to give them to you." Logan admitted, looking nervous. He didn't want to let Virgil down.

"Oh," Virgil muttered simply, looking surprised. "Don't be worried about that. I didn't get you anything too over the top, and dinner together still sounds really nice."

"Are you sure?" Logan asked, frowning. "I don't want to not do enough for you, and-"

Virgil cut Logan off by pulling him into a kiss, silencing all of his worries and smiling as he pulled away. "Logan, I don't care what we do or what you get me. This day is going to be perfect, as long as I get to spend it with you."

First oneshot finally done, yay! I had to do chores and stuff otherwise it would've been uploaded sooner-I hope I have enough time to do all of these. Also, since I'm going all of these there may not be a Robot update today. I really am trying to keep up with my schedule, most of the next chapter is already written but since I wanted to do this as well I'm not sure I'll get it done. I do have like, 6 more ships to go through lol (I am including LAMP, and I also might end up adding all the oneshots into one giant part like I did with the types of kisses prompt. This one is only getting uploaded now cause I haven't updated with an actual oneshot in 5 days and I feel bad lol).

Anyways, hopefully that'll be done and up later today. Sorry for not uploading much-I've had trouble focusing on anything the last couple of days, but I swear that I have been working on stuff. It's just... not finished yet. Like, I started working on a couple of oneshots, then got distracted from them, and I also do have half a chapter of Robot and Tally Marks done. I'm trying, I really am, idk what's wrong with my brain that won't let me stay concentrated on anything.

Anyways, hope your Valentine's Day is good! I'll be spending it with my one true love, the hottest person on this entire planet, which is obviously myself.

Lmao no, I'm kidding, obviously you all are hotter. Can't say this doesn't apply to you, because I say it does so it does. No arguments. You're hot as fuck, have a nice day everyone.

Also remember, even if you don't have romantic love rn dogs still love you and I think that's even better than romantic love tbh. And also, I love you all platonically!
