Experiment (Logic x Morality)

Prompt. Also dunno if it was obvious or not in this one but they're already a couple

"Patton." Logan made his way over to the bubbly side, Patton looking up from what he was doing. He smiled widely up at Logan who felt his cheeks burn. Clearing his throat, Logan started again. "Patton. Would you be willing to assist me in... an experiment?"

"Sure! What kind of experiment?" Patton asked excitedly, turning fully to face Logan. Logan glanced around the room for a moment, thinking up a decent lie.

"It's... it is a secret. All I can say is that I need to measure your heart rate while we hold hands." He stated calmly, hiding his nerves as he held out his hand. Patton raised an eyebrow at him.

"So, what you're saying is... you want me to hold your hand?" He grinned knowingly, and Logan's face burned even brighter than before.

"I-I-no, it is simply for an experiment! It's very important." He stammered, Patton stifling laughs as Logan tried to defend himself. Logan sighed. "Are you going to help me, or not?"

"I'll help you out with anything, Logan." Patton smiled, reaching out to take Logan's hand. He intertwined their fingers, laughing quietly as it wasn't his heart rate picking up, but Logan's. "Are you okay, Logan?" He chuckled.

"I am fine." Logan spoke in a quivering voice, looking down at their hands. The room fell silent, Patton smiling as Logan didn't seem to want to let go of his hand. He had known this was the logical Sides plan from the beginning, and he found it adorable.

Leaning over carefully, Patton whispered to Logan. "Y'know, if you really wanted to hold my hand all you had to do was ask."

Logan gave him an incredulous look, face and ears red. He tried to find something to say, falling silent once again as Patton kissed his cheek. He giggled, squeezing his hand gently to let him know it was okay, and that he was only messing with him. "Really, Logan. Next time you want to hold my hand just ask me."

"I... okay." Logan agreed, smiling slightly as he looked down at their hands. Patton smiled as well as he followed Logan's eyes to their hands, happy to see him happy.

"I love you, Logan." He mumbled, bringing their hands up to kiss the back of Logan's. Logan smiled at him.

"I love you too, Patton."

Logicality is apparently the most popular ship, so I guess I should be working on this more lol. Actually, in order from most to least asked for ship the list is:

Literally no one said royality, and what sucks is I rEALLY LOVE THAT SHIP RN MAN

*gets maybe 3 hours of sleep* I'm functioning perfectly life is okay
*gets a full night of sleep* I feel exhausted and I have no idea why and if you talk to me there's a 50% chance I'll stare off into space and not respond and a 50% chance I might stab you

Ahhhhhhhhh I might take a break for a bit. I'm not sure yet. I really need to get myself together, aha. I feel really.... out of it, I guess. Not myself. I don't know why, but I can't focus enough to really write anything good, so we'll see. Maybe. Maybe I'll be fine tomorrow.

Seriously this took me an hour and a half to write, not because it's long just cause I can't focus on anything god. I literally can't even remember anything that happened yesterday. Or this morning. Or five minutes ago. Ahhhhhhhh I feel awful

Is it too early to go to bed now

It's 7:30 but I don't know if I can stay up much longer I'm so tired. Anyways, I'm gonna get off now bc I'm starting to make less and less sense even to myself-

The entire time I've been writing the end of the oneshot snd my note I keep doing the thing where my eyes close for just a few seconds and then I forget what I was doing so if something doesn't make sense-ignore it I'm sorry.
