First Kisses (Anxiety x Logic)

Just to be clear, I'm not back, just updating this once
I DIDNT MEAN TO UNPUBLISH THIS WHOOPS how does this even happen aghh I just wanted to mOVE IT

Virgil and Logan had never actually kissed anyone before. They were both still new to all of this romantic stuff, and since neither of them were super affectionate people they didn't really think about it much. Of course, this didn't mean that they didn't want to, it simply hadn't happened yet.

The two of them were currently sat on the couch, cuddled together in warm pajamas and watching a movie. The movie was mostly background noise as the two of them talked quietly between each other. They were talking about random things, new things Logan had learned, or some new song Virgil found. It was peaceful, and the two of them were very happy.

At some point conversation trailed off, their whispers breaking off as the two looked at each other. They both had small smiles on their faces. Seeing either of them smile was slightly unusual, but when they were together they felt comfortable and like they could do anything.

Virgil caught Logan's eyes glance down for a moment, looking at his lips, before they moved back to look him in the eye with a nervous smile.

"Virgil, could I... would you like to.." His quiet voice kept pausing, rethinking what he was saying. He wasn't sure how to ask his question, and he was worried about what the response would be. He let out a sigh, looking around the room slowly, not able to look Virgil in the eye. "Can I kiss you?"

Virgil had seen the question coming, however he still found himself frozen, words escaping him. He spluttered, face burning, eventually closing his mouth and offering a tiny, shy nod.

"Are... are you sure? If it is not alright with you, then.."

"It is." Virgil cut him off. "Alright with me, I mean. I-er-I want to."

Logan shot him a relieved smile, drawing in a breath and looking him in the eye again. "And... how exactly does this, uh, work?"

"No clue." Virgil muttered honestly, shrugging. "I guess... we'll both figure it out together," he laughed nervously.

Silence fell between them, both of them looking at each other anxiously. Logan brought his hand up, hesitating for a moment before cupping Virgil's cheek. They sat like that for a moment, neither of them knowing what came next, until Logan once again took in a deep breath to calm his nerves and slowly began to lean forward.

He made sure to watch Virgil's face for any sign of hesitance, not wanting to make him feel uncomfortable. As he drew nearer he saw Virgil's eyes close, him doing the same.

Then, their noses bumped together, both of them jumping and opening their eyes again. When they realized what had happened they once again let out nervous giggles, shaking their heads at themselves. Their laughter caused some of their nervousness to fade away, feeling more at ease, like how they usually felt around each other.

The room fell silent once more, both of them still smiling over at each other. Finally, Logan tried leaning in again, this time not letting their noses get in the way of things. Then their lips were together, against each other for only a moment before they separated again.

They both opened their eyes to look at each other, staying quiet. Virgil was the one to lean in this time, this kiss lasting longer, the next one even longer, and both of them felt perfectly content to sit their and kiss each other for the rest of the night. At some point they did decide to stop, pulling back and looking each other in the eye with wide smiles.

"I.. love you, Virgil," Logan mumbled, looking to the floor with pink cheeks. Neither of them said that very often, as they weren't entirely used to it yet.

Virgil pulled Logan back into one more short kiss, smiling at him. "I love you too..." He muttered.

Logan smiled back at him, holding Virgil close as he did the same, neither of them moving for the rest of the night. The smiles didn't leave them, even as they drifted off to sleep. Their dreams were filled with nothing but each other, and they were happy.

So the ending of this sucks, sorry about that. But I actually think this is adorable those awkward nerds I love them (why am I so much like them lmao)

I'm not actually supposed to be on my phone. I need to finish my math homework, but I was going insane so I took a break to do this. I started it before I took a break.

Also, the only reason I'm updating today is bc my mental health is kind of okay. Like... you know where like, you're alright for now but if one thing happened that was bad you'd probably break? Yea that's currently me.

Also IT IS SO FUCKING COLD IN MY HOUSE I SWEAR, I'm in my warmest pajama pants, wearing a hoodie, in bed, and I'm still freezing cold this is stupid someone save me

Anyway

Still not sure when I'll permanently be back. I'm still just, really sad and frustrated and also still sick and tired a lot so we'll see. When I do get back I am planning to start Tallies, and Flowers will come later. My plans might change tho, if I think it will stress me out too much. Cause obviously it doesn't make any sense to take a break bc I'm stressed only to come back and give myself more stressful stuff to do.

I'm taking care of myself(at least... I think I'm doing okay?? I mean I've made a few stupid decisions but I'm eating and all that shit) so don't worry. Not that you probable were, lmao.

Anyways, not gonna ramble any more here, I'll be back soon. Maybe when I come back my hair will be blue? That may happen soon.
