So, first of all before this starts, just wanna apologize again for being bad at updating. I'm feeling better, and I'm hoping it'll last and I'll be back to updating normally. This story is also slightly based off of my own memories from when I was really little and I'm sorry if it's not that great.

The setting sun turned the sky beautiful shades of pink as their car traveled down the road that led to their home. It was cold out, so the heat was on in the car, the warmth causing tiny Nova to feel sleepier and sleepier. She tried to force her eyelids to stay open, staring at the passing trees in front of the now more purple sky. When that didn't seem to work she tried to turn her attention to her dads in the front seat, listening to their voices and attempting to make out what they were saying.

"So, Nova, did you have fun playing with Rose and Amelia?" Virgil asked, turning around to look at her.

"Mhm," Nova nodded. She really did have a lot of fun spending time with them and their dads, Patton and Roman. She would never be bored of being with them, even though they went over almost every day. If she hadn't been so tired she would have been a little more enthusiastic with her answer.

She wasn't sure, but she thought her dad had said one more thing before sleep took her. She couldn't answer or even understand what he had said, eyes finally sliding closed. Virgil paused what he was saying when he glanced back again at the backseat, smiling as he saw her leaning against the car door asleep.

"Has she fallen asleep already?" Logan asked, glancing over at Virgil and then back to the road. Virgil nodded, turning back around to face the front of the car. The rest of the car ride home was quiet and peaceful, stars slowly appearing above them as they drove on.

"We're he-" Logan paused, glancing over at his husband, who had decided to copy Nova and fall asleep against the door. Logan sighed, fond smile on his lips as he looked between the two. The smartest idea to get them all in the fastest would likely be to just wake one of them up, but Logan couldn't bring himself to do that.

So instead he traveled around to the opposite side of the car from Nova, leaving in and carefully unbuckling her seatbelt. He slowly lifted her into his arms, making his way into the house(after struggling for a minute with the keys), and up to her room. He laid her down gently in bed, tucking her in after taking her shoes off, pressing a kiss to her forehead.

He was about to turn and leave when he heard a quiet giggle and saw Nova's eyes open. "I tricked you! I was awake the whole time!"

Logan smiled at her, shaking his head with a sigh. "You got me, Nova. Now get some sleep, alright?"

"Okay, dad. Night!" She called, wiggling around under the blankets to get comfortable before closing her eyes again. Logan smiled, kissing her forehead again before standing to leave the room.

"Goodnight, Nova." He spoke as he turned the lights out in her bedroom, making sure her nightlight was on first.

With his daughter sleeping soundly in her bed he made his way back out to the car, finding Virgil leaning against the back of his seat now instead of the door. He smiled wider at the sight of him, peacefully asleep and snoring softly. He opened the door to the car as quietly as possible, doing the same as he had to Nova and gently lifting him from his seat.

It was slightly more difficult to carry an adult male from the car to their second floor bedroom than it was to carry a child, but somehow he managed. When Virgil was finally tucked into bed Logan felt as exhausted as both of them looked, so without bothering to change anything more than simply removing his tie, he climbed into bed next to his sleeping husband. Just as he had gotten comfortable and began to drift off, Virgil turned over and wrapped his arms around Logan.

"I love you," he mumbled sleepily, pressing a kiss to his chin that was meant to be on his lips. "Thanks for carrying me in."

"I love you too," Logan muttered back, leaning into Virgil and closing his eyes. "I didn't mind carrying you. I didn't want to have to wake you."

"You're the best, Logan." Virgil sighed, holding Logan tighter as he drifted back off. Logan smiled fondly at him for the thousandth time that night, quick to follow him in sleep.

Thanks to my friend Sammi for helping me pick the names for Patton and Romans kids, cause I'm awful at naming characters lol

Also, do you guys like oneshots like these? Where they have kids and stuff? And, is it at all possible that anyone would want to see like... an actual book about them raising kids..?

It'd be a little while if I did decide to do it, but I personally think it'd be fun to write, and I have the idea for it. I dunno. It's possible you guys could all hate the idea, idk. If it did happen it'd have a lot of cute happy moments and lots of platonic LAMP(I would still use these two ships tho), and man I've got a lot of this planned out in my head so if you guys hate the idea I might be a little disappointed, aha. But just, let me know!

Oh, yeah, the memory this is based off of is basically just from when my aunt used to still live near us(she's the one who's in Florida now), and when I was younger I would hang out with my cousins pretty much every single day. It was a lot of fun, and yesterday I ran around all day and was exhausted when we finally got in the car to come home and was falling asleep, which reminded me of doing that every time we would leave my aunts house. It's weird what little silly things can remind you of other stuff from years ago. They were happy memories, though.

Also this is being posted at 8AM bc I've been up since like, 6. I've been getting up earlier a lot lately, and Vaughn is not very pleased with this lol.

He's hiding his face under the blankets. He actually was really sad when I left him home the other day(I've been helping my mom with work on Fridays, she cleans peoples houses and stuff) I told him to get up bc I had to leave, but he refused to get off my lap. He actually jumped up in my face and just wouldn't move, it was so sad and I felt so bad for leaving him.

Anyways-I'll stop talking here now. Let me know about the book thing, cause I do really wanna write that now. I've got another oneshot to write, so hopefully I'll update again soon. Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed it. *its a birthday party and when you pop the balloons ring pops fall out*
