 Ian Hecox sat on the couch in his living room reading a book, enjoying the rest of his day off. He looked at the clock and smiled realizing his boyfriend of three...almost four years Anthony Padilla, would be coming home from work soon.

 Ian met Anthony three years ago, when he literally ran into Anthony as he was coming out of a coffee shop and Ian was going in, knocking himself backward, but Anthony had grabbed his arm stopping him from falling on his butt. Ian was so embarrassed; leave it to him to meet someone as hot as Anthony and almost knock them on their ass, what a great first impression. Anthony didn't seem bothered by it at all and even made a joke about it to ease Ian's embarrassment. After talking for a while, they exchanged numbers, and later that night Anthony had called him and asked him out to dinner. That night was all it took, they began dating and fell in love and a year ago they moved in together. Ian truly loved Anthony and was the happiest he's ever been in his life, but he's always felt like he was in competition for Anthony's heart with one man...Anthony's ex-boyfriend Shayne Topp.

 Anthony and Shayne had been together eight years, they were in love and Anthony was devoted to him. Anthony was devastated when Shayne broke up with him and moved out of town, it took Anthony a long time to be able to open his heart to another; Shayne had been the first person Anthony's ever loved romantically. After meeting Ian though, he found love for the second time, but despite their love, Ian felt like he was living in Shayne's shadow. He knew all about him and their relationship, Anthony had told him and he knew Anthony still and always would love Shayne. Even though Anthony didn't know he was doing it and he wasn't doing it on purpose, the way he talked about Shayne and their past made Ian feel like he was secretly living in Shayne's shadow. He was jealous of Shayne for having the relationship and bond with Anthony that he had. Even though Shayne's been gone for a few years now Ian was still afraid of losing Anthony to him.

 Sighing, Ian tried to concentrate on his book again, but like usual, once he started thinking...obsessing about their love triangle, he couldn't stop. Thankfully, before he could think any more about it, he heard Anthony's car pull up and seconds later the front door opened and he heard Anthony call out to him.

 "Ian, you home, baby boy?"

 "Yeah, I'm in the living room babe." He called back smiling, as Anthony came into the room smiling. "How was work?"

 "Good, but my boss is still a douche." Anthony answered, as he sat on the couch beside him and put his head on Ian's shoulder.

 "Anthony, you own your own gym, you work for yourself, babe." Ian said smiling.

 "I know, like I said, the guy's a total ass." Anthony replied, as they both laughed.

 "Well, I happen to think he's pretty hot." Ian stated, as he put his book on the coffee table.

 "You do, huh?" Anthony said smirking.

 "Yep, have you seen his incredible body?" Ian teased, before he got onto Anthony's lap and began kissing him.

 After a few minutes of making out, Ian pulled away and smiling cuddled into Anthony, laying his head on Anthony's chest.

 "I got you something on my way home." Anthony said, as he kissed the top of Ian's head.

 "You did?" Ian asked, as he looked at Anthony.

 "Yep." Anthony answered smiling. "Come on, it's in my trunk." He said, as they got up and went outside.
