Drunken Mistake Pt7 (Ian X Reader)

  I sighed, as I finished getting dressed after my shower, it was Saturday night and I was getting ready for my friend date, while Ian was already gone on his date. The week had passed slowly; Ian and I had avoided each other as much as we could and if we did talk it always ended up turning into an argument. I had talked to Carter a lot over the past few days and I tried to cancel our date many times, but I couldn't do it knowing that Ian was going out with Amanda. Besides, Carter was a really nice guy and even though I wasn't interested in him, I didn't want to hurt him. I decided that I would go out with him tonight as friends only and then at the end of our date I'll let him down gently. I stared at myself in the mirror trying to pump myself up for the date; I might as well try and enjoy myself.

 I finished getting ready and left my room and went into the living room thinking that Ian had already left 15 minutes ago. I stopped walking seeing Amanda sitting on the couch alone, she looked gorgeous as always and seeing her sitting on the couch like she belonged there made my heart ache, she was perfect for Ian. Seeing me, she smiled and stood holding out her hand for me to shake.

 "Hi, I'm Amanda Reed, Ian's date and you must be (Y/N)?"

 "I...I' am." I replied faking myself, as I shook her hand.

 "Nice to meet you, I haven't had a chance to properly introduce myself to you yet, since you're...you know." She said still smiling, as she motioned to my stomach with her hands.

 "Pregnant?" I said still faking my smile.

 "Yeah, that." She said. "Anyway, I'm the new Personal Assistant for Ian and Anthony."

 "That's...great for you." I said trying to hide my bitterness. "Welcome to the Smosh family, it's an awesome place to work; you're going to enjoy it."

 "Oh, I already am enjoying it very much." She replied blushing and I knew she was talking about Ian.

 "Alright, Amanda, I found it." Ian said smiling, as he came into the living room carrying a script, he stopped walking when he saw me. "(Y/N), I...I thought you were gone already?" He added nervously, seeing me talking to Amanda.

 "Carter, should be here anytime now actually, I thought you already left?" I replied.

 "I did, but I forgot the script for next week's video here and I had to come back here to get it, so Amanda can get it to Ryan before tomorrow."

 Before I could say anything the doorbell rang, grateful for the distraction, I went and answered it to find Carter standing there smiling.

 "Hi, (Y/N/N), you look beautiful." Carter greeted me, as he handed me a bouquet of roses and kissed my cheek.

 "Aw, thank you, you look very handsome." I replied, as I took the flowers. "I love the roses, thank you. Come in, while I put these in some water."

 I let him inside and we went into the living room, where Ian and Amanda were talking.

 "Oh, uh, this is my date, Carter Fields, Carter this is Ian Hecox and his...date, Amanda Reed."

 "So, you're Carter?" Ian said sarcastically, as he shook his hand.

 "That's me; it's nice to meet you, guys." Carter replied, not catching on to Ian's sarcasm.

 "Just let me put these in some water and then we can go. I can't wait for our date." I said, faking my excitement to fool Ian.
