Damien sat on Shayne's couch, he was alone right now, Shayne had gone out to get them some dinner. He sighed, he was exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally, but he couldn't go home to his empty house. It was hard for him to be alone in the home he had once shared with Ian. Since the breakup, Damien's world had collapsed and he was beyond grateful for Shayne's constant love and support, he'd be completely lost without him. He leaned back against the couch and sighing shakily, he thought about his life with his brothers. It's been two weeks since the party, and when they weren't working; trying to keep their agency going, they tried to figure out what Rachel was using to blackmail Ian, but so far they had nothing. His thoughts were interrupted by Shayne returning, Damien quickly wiped his tears away; tears that he didn't even notice had fallen until now, and put on a fake smile, as Shayne came into the room.
"Hey, Shayne." Damien greeted him.
"Hey, Dames." Shayne replied, as he sat beside him and put the food on the table. "How's the search going?" He asked, as he opened the bags and took out their dinner.
"Uh, the same as it was when you left...nowhere." Damien answered sighing, as he took his food.
"Damien, I hate to say it..."
"Then don't!" Damien said bitterly, cutting him off.
"Maybe we aren't finding anything, because there's nothing to find?"
"You can't be serious, Shayne?" Damien asked upset. "Ian would never do this to us...to me, without having been forced to."
"Damien, I want to believe that as much as you do, but..."
"But nothing, dammit!" Damien yelled, cutting him off again. "No one knows him better than us and there's something going on with him, I...I can feel it!"
"Is there? Or maybe, you just want there to be something, so you don't have to accept the truth?" Shayne said gently.
"What?" Damien asked shocked. "Where is this coming from? Before you left, you believed it too, what the hell happened?" He demanded angrily.
"Look, Damien, I'm not trying to start a fight." Shayne began sighing. "I...I just think we should concentrate on saving the company, instead of looking for ways to save someone who doesn't want to be saved."
"You know what, Shayne? I'm not hungry anymore, I'm just going to go home and get some sleep." Damien said upset, as he put his food on the table, stood up, and grabbed his stuff.
"Damien, don't do this." Shayne said, as he stood too. "Sit back down and..."
"And what, Shayne?" Damien said cutting him off. "I don't care what you or anyone else says; including Ian, I know him and I know that bitch is blackmailing him! I'm going to prove it and stop her, with or without your damn help!" He added, before he left, slamming the door behind him.
**Two Days Later**:
Ian stood looking out the large, picture window of his new office, he hated what his life had become and it was all because of that bitch, Rachel. She's done nothing, but ruin his life ever since he's met her and he's never hated another person more in his entire life, the way he does her. He sighed, as he began to think of his brothers and how he ended up living a nightmare that he couldn't wake up from. It's been days since the party and even though he hated being in competition with his brothers, at least work gave him an escape from the She-Beast for a while. His thoughts were interrupted by Rachel coming into the room smiling, seeing her Ian instantly became angry.
