Cowboy Love Pt3 (Shaymien)

 The sun was beginning to set as Damien drove his car to his destination. He was on his way to fix the biggest mistake he's ever made, he was on a mission of love!

 A month ago his best friend/brother and business partner, Ian changed Damien's life forever after he brought him to a working Dude Ranch for a surprise vacation. At first, Damien didn't want to be there, but he quickly changed his mind after he met and fell hard for one of the cowboys who lived and worked there, Shayne. Shayne was a true cowboy in every sense of the word and he hated people from the city who came to the Ranch, he called them Cityslickers. Shayne refused to have any kind of contact with Damien or Ian for the first few days they were there, but Damien refused to give up and finally convinced Shayne to go on a horseback ride with him. On that ride, Shayne had gotten hurt, but not seriously and at the hospital, they finally confessed their feelings for each other and kissed.

 Shayne and Damien became a couple, and Shayne became best friends/brothers with Ian as well. After Damien and Ian returned home Shayne showed up in the city a week later to surprise them. Damien was so happy to have Shayne with him and he wanted him to enjoy his vacation with them to the fullest. He wouldn't let Shayne drive, or pay for anything and he even bought Shayne a whole new wardrobe; which according to Shayne was more City than what he was used to. Damien didn't see anything wrong with what he was doing, but Shayne and Ian saw it differently and Shayne confronted Damien believing he was embarrassed by him, and ended up breaking up with Damien, leaving and going back to the Ranch.

 Damien finally realized; with some help from Ian, what he had done and he packed a bag and went after Shayne. He was only a couple of hours behind him and he hoped he wasn't too late and that he would let him apologize. On his way to the Ranch, he called Ian to tell him what he was doing and Ian was so happy he was going after Shayne. Damien pulled into the Ranch and the first person he saw was a cowgirl he and Ian had become friends with named Courtney Miller. He parked and smiling got out, Courtney happy to see him hugged him smiling.

 "Welcome back, Dames. Shayne never told us you were coming." Courtney said when the hug ended.

 "That's because he...um, doesn't know I'm here. Is...is he around?" Damien answered, as he looked around.

 "Yeah, he's in his usual spot. He seems upset though, I tried talking to him, but he blew me off."

 "We...he broke up with me tonight." Damien said quietly.

 "What? He was so happy with you. Did you cheat on him, Haas?" Courtney said angrily, ready to kick Damien's Cityslicker ass!

 "No, it's nothing like that, but it is my fault." Damien answered sadly.

 "Come on, I'll take you to your room and you can tell me what happened."

 A couple of hours later, Courtney and Damien were sitting in Damien's room talking; he had told her everything that had happened. As they talked, Shayne came looking for Courtney, not knowing Damien was at the Ranch, until he saw him.

 "Hey, Court, I need to..." He began, but stopped seeing Damien. "Never mind, I'll talk to you later." He said, as he turned to leave.

 "Shayne, wait, please! I came to..."

 "Save it, Cityslicker, you wasted a trip! I've got chores to do!" Shayne said angrily cutting Damien off, as he turned and walked away.
