Nika's POV

I laid on my bed, staring up at my phone, listening to whatever music took my fancy. I'd had a long day and right now all I wanted to do was relax and unwind for the evening. I had my headphones in so Jey didn't have to listen to what I was listening to. We had been dating for just over two months, and although it seems quick, we are both really serious about each other.

One of my favourite songs by my cousins show, Empire, came on and I couldn't help but start to sing a long to the beat of the song, tapping my foot along on my bed. The song was called Nothing to Lose and was definitely one of their best songs they had recorded.

After the song had finished, I anticipated what the next song would be, so I could sing along to that one too. My all time favourite came on next, Run, by Damien (a guy from the voice idk who he is) and couldn't help but sing the lyrics at the top of my voice.

As I finished my little performance to myself in the mirror, I saw a shadow standing by the door, immediately recognising Jey's body shape. "What are you doing?" I whispered. Jey came towards me, placing his hands on my waist.

"I thought I left the radio playing upstairs, I didn't realise it was you." I chuckled lightly, as he pecked my lips.

"Yeah, it was me."

"It was amazing baby girl, how come you haven't sung in front of me before?" He queried. I've never really known why I don't sing in front of people. I guess I just didn't have the confidence to.

"I honestly don't know, I guess I've just been scared." Jey looked at me as if I was crazy.

"You have nothing to be scared of, you're an amazing singer, and I wouldn't have you any other way."

A/N- Lyrics will be put in at a later date, but I'm on holiday, so be previlleged that you have an update, I've been away and had rubbish WiFi, so this took me like a week
