You blushed, looking back towards the fire after you and Seth locked eyes again. You had just shifted, causing the pack to throw a small party to celebrate.

You were the latest one to shift, just a few months after Seth and Leah. You were thrilled. excited to be part of the pack. Of course, you were also thrilled that you had imprinted - on Seth Clearwater.

The two of you had been exchanging small glances all night, both too nervous to approach the other. You had talked some before you imprinted, and you had developed a small crush on the boy already.

"Hey." You snapped your head to the left, smiling when you saw your brother, Jacob. "Are you having fun?"

"Yeah." You smiled, looking back to the fire. "Thanks for doing this."

"You're welcome." He nudged your shoulder. You looked past the fire to Seth again, feeling your cheeks flush once more as you met his gaze. Jacob looked between the two of you, a crease forming between his brows. "What's that about?"

"What's what about?"

Jacob threw you a look. "You and Seth have been staring at each other all night."

"No we haven't." You brushed him off. You knew how protective your older brother could get, and you didn't want him to bother Seth.

But Jacob stood, not listening to a word that you were saying. "Jake? Where are you going?"

He walked over to Seth, causing you to follow after him, trying to stop him. The other boys were starting to gather around, wondering why Jacob was so upset now. "What's going on?"

Seth looked taken aback, his eyes flickering between you and Jacob. "What?"

"You and Y/n!" Jacob was getting annoyed now, just wanting to know what was going on.

Seth looked back at you. "Did you tell him?"

Jacob wheeled around to face you as you narrowed your eyes at Seth. "Tell me what?"

Seth sighed, standing as he did. He went to stand by your side, staring at Jacob as he did. "She's my imprint."

Jacob stood still, eyes locking on your intensely. You stared back, waiting for him to say anything. He looked back to Seth, stepping closer to him now. "You weren't going to tell me?"

"I-. Not until she wanted to." Seth stuttered, leaning away from your brother.

You rolled your eyes. "Knock it off, Jacob. You're overreacting."

He glared at you. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"We haven't even talked about it yet." You answered back, crossing your arms over your chest. "Just drop it now."

Jacob was silent again, though the anger rolled off of him in waves. He looked back towards Seth, pointing a finger directly at her. "If you do anything that hurts you, you'll have to deal with me."

Seth nodded his head. "I know."

Jacob exhaled loudly, and pushed past the two of you. You sighed, looking towards Seth, apologetically. "I'm sorry about him."

"It's okay." He smiled. "We knew he'd say something, right?"

You laughed. "Yeah, I guess."

Seth reached down and grabbed your hand. You smiled again, though this time, you became shy. Seth smiled back at you. "If it makes you feel any better, I'm glad you're my imprint."

Your heart skipped a beat and you squeezed his hand tighter. "Me too."
