"Remind me again, how did I, Bella, you and Carl-dad get on the same plane yet he isn't here?" You asked.

"He will be in a couple of minutes." Alice smiled in amusement.

"You say because you know or you say to shut me up?" You asked.

"Because I know." Alice answered.

If Edward was here, you were certain he'd say it was to also shut you up.
Dare he admit it, he might have gained a sibling that's even more annoying than Rosalie. Although he didn't think his answer would change much as to who he'd rather be stuck with. He'd rather be stuck with you. 

As Alice either predicted or foreseen, Carlisle arrived.

"The Volturi are aware of our arrival and are expecting us." Carlisle said simply. "Felix and Demetri are on the way to escort us."

"Do...we not know how to get there?" You asked with slightly confusion. "Weren't you here before?"

"They'd be more comfortable this way, to keep us hidden." Carlisle replied. "They'll be here in ten minutes in a black car with tinted windows." Alice chirped. "Fitting." Bella commented quietly. Carlisle cracked a smile at Bella.

Your jaw dropped when two men dressed in black approached you. Both very incredibly tall, yet the Brunette towered over the blonde that little bit more. "Demetri, Felix, it's wonderful to see you again." Carlisle said.

The smaller blonde nodded as the two men smiled, slightly menacingly. "Likewise, Carlisle." The blonde replied.
"This must be the little one, a brand new face we haven't met before." The brunette stared down at you.

You were by no means a child yet you couldn't help but wonder if perhaps that meant nothing to these vampires who had lived through several centuries.

"Ah yes, This is (Y/N). The latest addition to the family- legally speaking. (Y/N), this is Demetri and Felix. Two of Aro's highest elite guards."
You were certain your stomach dropped a little, two of the elites were currently looking at you. That was when you realised you should probably respond rather than stare at them and make it slightly awkward.

"Hi, it's nice to meet you. Sorry, I'm a little awkward at introductions." You smiled holding out your hand for either of them to shake.
"We would never have noticed, little one." Felix winked as he shook your hand. Little did you know how wary he was that one small move could break your hand in his. Furthermore, even scare you. Neither were his intention.

When Felix let go, Demetri reached for your hand. You expected him to shake your hand yet instead he raised you hand to his lips, pressing a light kiss to your knuckles. You felt how cold his lips were yet it wasn't unpleasant, much to your surprise. Demetri smirked slightly at your blush.

During the drive to the castle, the conversation picked up once more.
"Might I congratulate you upon the finalization of the adoption? It was a joy to hear after such a lengthy and challenging process." Demetri said.

"You knew about the adoption process?" You said with surprise.
"The Volturi allowed me to do so." Carlisle nodded in response.
"We must be informed and permit matters such as these to keep our laws in tact." Demetri explained.

You hummed, slightly uneased by just how much the coven seemed to know of you whilst you didn't know about them.
"Oh, not this again." Felix complained.
