Angels - Patton & Virgil

It didn't take long for Virgil to realise Patton was changing...the usual kind, bubbly, childish, Dad like trait was becoming less and less like himself and more...mean. It was subtle, at first, Patton didn't worry over people as often, he wasn't as kind or forgiving if someone did something wrong and he didn't help anyone when they had gotten hurt.

Everyone noticed him changing, but none of them acted upon it, a very stupid mistake. Virgil also noticed how he wasn't as cuddly towards him, he wasn't as affectionate and rarely told him he loved him...it was hurting Virgil, a lot.

Virgils patience was running thin, Roman and Logan noticed, he started to feel anger towards Morality on a daily bases and not only did he hate it he hated the fact he was feeling it, he always thought he would love Patton, obviously he was wrong.

He needed to speak with him but every time he tried to mention it Patton would walk away, this time though, he wasn't getting away.

Virgil stayed in his room for weeks after that, he went through everything he had done since he and Patton got together but he couldn't pinpoint something he had done to make Patton stop loving him, maybe he just lost interest? But Virgil was hurt, really hurt.

And for some reason, some odd reason he wanted something he has never wanted before.

Revenge.

Roman and Logan told Virgil this wasn't like him, they tried to persuade him to change, to not want to hurt Patton back but every time Virgil wouldn't listen, he didn't care, it wasn't fair that Patton could hurt him like that without it coming around and hitting him in the face.

Patton was destroying the relationship between them all, Roman and Logan started to hate Patton and Virgil more and more from what they were doing to each other, it was irrational and whenever Patton would do something bad Virgil would watch with a look in his eye that screams he would get revenge.

For them, all the could think of was each other, but not in a good way, time was slipping from their grasps, not like they cared, all they wanted to do was hurt the other.

Virgil thought it was stupid Patton wasn't trying to stop him, but he wasn't complaining, he could hurt Patton in more ways then he ever imagined and Patton could do the same thing back, they both ran but ended up in the same position, it was like...they wanted this, they needed this.

That moment when Patton told him he didn't love him was always on his mind whenever he looked at the now evil trait, which would only fuel his anger and want to...to...hurt him, torture him, put him through hell and back for what he did.

He remembers it like it was yesterday, and he knew it would not be forgotten. He never knew Patton could do...this...he never knew he could do this, he guessed...angels could be bad.

Virgil could feel his sanity breaking, he was going insane along with Patton, they stopped caring about their health, about their friends, about Thomas, about everything. All the wanted to do was hurt each other, mentally, physically, anything, as long as the other was hurt.

Virgil did have those doubts, did he truly want this? Or did he want things to go back to normal? Back when Patton didn't change, when they were in love? Did he want Patton to go?

This was it, they were finally standing face to face, one glimpse into their eyes and they could see the insanity, they absolute pain and anger burning in them, they both loved it, but not enough to keep the other alive.

And that was it, after a long battle between the two, they were both finished, done, over, gone...

I honestly do not know what this song is really about, if it was about a broken relationship or something else, if it was about actual angels but whatever, apparently when I hear this song I think of Patton and Virgil fighting
