Loki sat opposite Nick Fury and Agent Phil Coulson in a stretch black car. His arms were folded across his chest, and his green eyes were narrowed. He was wearing normal clothes on the outside, but underneath, was his Asgardian armor, thin but tough. Coulson's hand went to his ear as he had just received a message on his comm. He turned to Fury to tell him, but Loki (with the ability to hear it) spoke up first. "Tony Stark would like confirmation from the All-Father before he lets me into his tower. Fair enough. My papers are here and in order," Loki said as he gave Coulson a scroll. Coulson took it from Loki, and glanced at Fury. Fury looked at Loki with his one eye, but the God of Mischief did not flinch.
"Odin is simply being polite, Loki, so your presence and the 'aid' you can bring, is a gift. You owe us that much. Play along dammit!" Fury snapped. Loki hissed in response, and glanced out his window at the Avengers Tower. The car stopped and Fury climbed out, followed by Coulson. Loki stepped out on his side, and stared up at the pinnacle of metal and glass. A voice at the gate greeted them.
"Welcome Nicholas Fury, and Agent Phil Coulson. My master wants to know if you brought the package and the paperwork?" Jarvis asked.
"The 'package' is very sensitive, so watch your mouth you electrical piece of garbage!" Loki shouted, and Jarvis did not speak to him again.
"The papers please, Mr. Fury," Jarvis said and Fury placed them on a scanner. Jarvis examined them and opened the gate. Fury and Coulson turned to look at Loki, obviously waiting for him to go through first. Loki glared at them and entered Avenger's Tower.
The Avengers were sitting in the living room when Loki, Fury, and Coulson walked in. Tony stood up as did Steve and Thor. Bruce, Clint, and Natasha remained seated. Loki glanced around, and folded his arms across his chest when Thor extended his hand. "Everyone, Loki is here on the orders of Odin, the All-Father. Here are the papers," Fury said giving them to Tony. He looked at them, before he gave them to Thor.
"Very well. Welcome to the Avengers," Tony said.
"Please, don't sugar coat it. You hate me and I hate you. Nobody wants me here, and those are my feelings exactly!" Loki responded, poison dripping off of every word.
