When Natasha stopped before the tower, Loki was out of the car in a blink, and Natasha had to run to catch up to him walking. "Can't you slow down?! I'm in heels!" Natasha said as she finally reached him.
"Your fault not mine," Loki pointed out dryly. Natasha glared up at him, but he did not notice.
"You can be a real dipshit!" she retorted angrily, not caring about her mission at this point.
"Add it to my other names," Loki said as they reached the doors. He pressed the button, but Jarvis did not open them. He pressed it again, and still nothing happened. Loki paused a second before he hit the speaker button. "Open the door," he said as quietly as he could.
"What's the password?" Tony's voice asked through the device. Natasha's hand went to her mouth as she stifled a laugh. Loki's eyes popped before they narrowed.
"Open the damn door or I'll open your precious damn head!" he snarled.
"You wouldn't do that. You love me too much," Tony said sarcastically.
"Stark!" Loki yelled.
"And that's the password," Tony said quickly, and the door opened. Loki stormed in but nobody was in sight. A letter was taped to the elevator doors and Loki read it.
"Still want to kill me? You'll find me in the game room." Loki crumpled it and entered the elevator with Natasha right behind him. They rode up silently and when the doors opened, Loki sprinted down the hallway towards the game room. Natasha tried to keep up in her heels but eventually had to stop to throw them off.
"Oh forget it!" she said as she tossed them down the hallway. One almost hit Loki in the head. He glared at her over his shoulder before he turned back to his goal. When he reached the door that led to the game room, he paused, almost as if he feared what was on the other side. When Natasha caught up, Loki put his hand on the knob and opened the door. An explosion and the noise of Furies greeted him.
"Happy Birthday, Loki!" everyone shouted. Loki gazed around with a shocked expression. Then it transformed into a smirk.
