"Must I look like myself or like a Midgard woman?" Sigyn asked Natasha and Pepper as they prepared her. Loki had allowed the press conference because he and Sigyn were making Midgard their new home. He said he was going to humor the mortals.
"If you're going to make earth your home, you should probably show them that you can conform to our ways," Pepper suggested. Natasha pulled out a short dress of blue and held it up to Sigyn. The Light Elf shook her head and Natasha put the dress down. Sigyn waved her hand and she was soon enveloped in a short dress of purple. A belt of golden material appeared around her waist, and shoes with heals were on her feet. She waved her hand again, and her white hair transformed into rich, dark brown hair. Her ears were no longer pointy like an elf. Her golden eyes remained the same though. When she turned to face Pepper and Natasha, they were staring at her in awe. "Why did you need us again?" Pepper asked. Natasha giggled a little and nodded her head approvingly.
In Loki's room, Thor, Steve, Clint, Bruce, and Tony watched as Loki got ready. With a wave of his hand, he transformed his suits and mixed colors to show them. Several times, the Avengers shook their heads, as they did not agree on the colors. Finally, Loki appeared in black dress pants, polished shoes, a white shirt, with a black coat, and a green and gold scarf draped over it. His hair was back and out of his face. "Classy, Jack! Classy!" Clint said with a wink and a raised thumb. Loki nodded, cleared his throat, adjusted his collar, and stepped out of his room. Sigyn was standing in the main room, waiting for him.
"My darling! You are a vision!" Loki exclaimed as he came to her.
"Wasn't her hair like Cruella De Ville's before?" Clint asked, before Thor bipped him in the back of the head, sending him sprawling onto the floor forcefully.
The reporter was giddy as she announced the Avengers and their guests at the Avengers Initiative PR event. "Today, at this press conference, we welcome Tony Stark, the invincible Iron Man; Steve Rovers, Captain America; Dr. Bruce Banner, the Incredible Hulk; the mighty Thor; Hawkeye; Black Widow; and their newest member, Loki! And his wife, Sigyn!" Everyone came out and sat down. After them, the President came out. Loki noticed Anna West and nodded before he took Sigyn's hand. That was when the room became silent.
