The Tales of Loki

Doom's Day: Part 1

Sigyn and the Avengers were sitting in the main lab, scanning the earth for any signs of magic. Sigyn was hooked up to machine that was keeping an eye on her heart rate and blood pressure. At that moment, her heart was beating a mile per minute. Natasha was sitting in a chair with a bandage around her head, and Clint was holding her hand. "Sir, there is a magical energy detected right here in New York City. It's actually very close to the tower," Jarvis said.

"Scan it and identify!" Tony said as he slipped his helmet on. Jarvis did just that, and a second later, he responded.

"Sir, the magic is identified as Loki's," Jarvis said and everyone looked up. That was when the security camera at the front buzzed, and they saw Loki standing there holding the baby.

"Let me in, or I'll break down the frickin door," Loki said calmly. Tony quickly opened the door while Thor picked Sigyn up and they all ran for the front door. As soon as Jarvis opened it, Loki entered. He was bruised, a little banged up, but still alive, and he had their son.

"Loki!" Sigyn shouted as Thor let her hug him and the baby. She was too weak and still getting over shock, so, he did not want her standing on her own. "What happened? Where is Vali?" she asked him urgently.

"He's still alive if that's what you were really asking. He and Amora will be spending some time in the Nether Region," Loki said as he put the infant into her arms. "Don't take offense, but, I kind of had to name him on the fly. He is Nari," Loki said as he lightly laid his hand on Nari's head. Sigyn smiled as she kissed her son's cheek.

"Nari. It suits him," she told Loki. Loki smiled and then turned to the Avengers.

"Thanks for looking out for her," he said.

"No problem! It's what friends do," Tony said as he stuck out his hand. Loki took it and they shook. Of course, he had to shake Steve's hand and Clint's afterward. Thor and Natasha gave him a hug. He and Sigyn had just added a new person to their family.
